    • @urjnlegend
      @urjnlegend Месяц назад +1

      That's a good thing. Better than being the shitty bit company or the "sorry you lost you 11 in 1 bit, pay 8 bucks for two of them, don't worry, they'll snap in half m, that's why we sell 2"

  • @urjnlegend
    @urjnlegend Месяц назад +3

    Idk if it went over your head, but you can use 1/2" and 3/8" socket extetensions with this thing. That's kind of a big deal.
    I had no idea the malco fit in the 11 in 1 handle, so thank you for that, but i think this is a must have.
    Huge win for mechanics out there, big big win

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance  Месяц назад +1

      You can add any extension on it that would normally fit on any 3/8 end… you just can’t flip it and put stuff in the handle like what I showed with the Malco and 11-1. That is because the bits in the handle keep it from being as hollow.
      You could also use a 1/4” to 3/8 adapter in your 11-1 and create a similar situation. This one just has that built in with bits in the handle and works with the other 1/4” pass through connect stuff.
      They are all useful tools that ultimately become more useful the more pieces you buy and they work together.

    Oof, what a relief. I was worried - it's been two weeks since last screwdriver video. But fortunately everything is back on tracks :)
    I will say it again, I wish Klein was available in Europe. These are not the staple tools, but I could buy some of them. But as with most hand tools I need to touch them first, so buying online is not an option for the first time.
    Nice and thorough review, as always.

    That's pretty cool! I bought the 3/8 pass through socket set, not realizing that the 1/4 works with the impact 11-in-1 ratcheting screwdriver and now also this new 1.
    Best I can tell the 3/8 pass through socket set that's klwin knect M is a 5/8 12 point socket. I haven't seen anything as far as kleins screwdrivers that work with it so no handle for a hollow shaft screwdriver option yet (unless someone else knows of something I've missed?)

    I don't use enough 3/8s sockets to make this worth it for me. If the malco fit from the other 11 in 1 with bit storage I'd get one today. I haven't seen press stuff on this you got it early this time! I would do a malco and a wiha locking bit holder if it would fit. Lemme guess now they will come out with a racheting version 😆 keep us on the hook 🪝.

    Also a heads up with the new Knect 21 piece starter set. The driver handle that it comes with that accepts the pass through extension and sockets, etc is not ratcheting. It’s a bit smaller in diameter and much lighter weight than the 11 in 1 ratcheting driver handle. It says Knect S on the end of it. I guess they special made this handle just for that kit. I didn’t know that until I opened it up. I really am liking the way the handle feels, it’s very comfortable. This is in response to you saying that some people might not buy the 11 in 1 ratcheting screwdriver because they’re not a fan of ratcheting screwdrivers to use with their pass through set.

    What are your thoughts on the m12 fuel drill-driver combo? I think I want to invest more into the m12 side... like the stubby, ratchet, and I already have the circ saw. They just work better for my needs, are smaller, and a bit cheaper, without sacrificing functionality. However I haven't used them, just watched reviews of them. So any advice?

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance  Месяц назад +1

      I use them both.. I prefer the surge over the regular, but to get the combo in the kit is the better deal with the regular impact. For nearly almost everything daily you use them for, they will 100% work

    • @MattHmm-rq6dn
      @MattHmm-rq6dn Месяц назад +1

      If you don't care about the extra quiet impact defently but the combo on a good free tool promo. There is a small power difference with the latest one vs the surge. When you can get the hammer drill and impact for the price of the surge alone it's more practical. Getting proper batteries is more important the high output 2.5s and 5.0s for bigger tools. That's where the money should go but for people like me and Joey we spend the extra money on that quiet advantage because we have everything else already.

You'll loose them or the cap before you have a issue with them. You will kick yourself for loosing a 12 to 16 dollar pencil too though the bright color makes it hard to.
