Mirabel doesn’t have a power per se but she basically is taking over as the next matriarch that looks over the family like Abuela, she keeps them all together and shows them it’s about strong family bonds instead of all the pressure abuela was putting on them that was breaking them apart.
I usually agree with you talking bc it’s a reaction, but I think the reason people say that to you is bc you talk SO much that you’re not listening. The first song is perfection and the best exposition song ever made, if you paid attention, you would have heard everything and understood it just fine. I love how they started it and changed up the music style in this movie. I do think talking is part of reacting and some people are over sensitive, but you still have to listen and pay attention….
Right? It's a musical, they tell you things in the song. I find it funny that they joked about the songs being exposition but didn't actually listen and were later confused cos they needed exposition.
Exactly of course talk but there is a thing called too much talking I mean shit I would know I’m a very talkative person and even I think they talk too much even if it is a commentary. Not only that I watch so many other reactors that do a pretty damn good job and they don’t talk to the extent that these guys do. And yes when you talk to much you miss a lot of important parts and then you’re confused. And it’s like well wouldn’t have been confused about this if you had listened to them when they explained it but you didn’t hear them cuz you couldn’t stop talking.
I agree but ypou can't make someone who doesn't like musicals to enjoy a musical, I understand what you say, but again, Musicals ain't for everyone and they've said so many times they don't like musicals, so no matter how good a musical is, someone who is not into musicals will never enjoy it, is like giving the best orange chicken to someone who doesn't like sweet food, it doesn't matter how good it it the person willnever like it.
@@janineadrianareguengagomez3708 I feel like it’s not about making them enjoy it like they don’t have to enjoy it. It’s just that they’re missing literal plot points with the talking. Like I watch to listen to them talk but they miss things that makes them confused so then they don’t understand the entire movie which is frustrating.
The problem isn't that y'all talk a lot, it's that you miss the major exposition points in the beginning because you're talking too much then, and you spend the rest of the movie confused about what's happening and who's who. The talking is good. It adds to the movie. It's just frustrating to see a good movie not get enjoyed properly because you talked through the setup of the story.
Not sure if you noticed, but Mirabel is the only one that casita directly responds to. She doesn't get an enchantment because she is the next matriarch of the house. She's kind of like a manager of the house and its powers. And frankly, I think she'll do a better job at keeping the family together than Abuela.
Isabella was not singing because she formed a cactus. For the first time, she let something out from her heart to one of her family. She just thought being perfect like her grandmother's wish will bring happiness but she starting feeling happy only after she went after her heart. That song is her realization.
we try, mama bear :'( but we wont catch everything on the first watch. and sometimes in these musical movies its hard to catch some details that are in the songs when we're just jamming out to the music. but getting corrected by the viewers is always fun for us since we get to learn more about the movie afterwards! kinda like an easter egg breakdown :) pls let us know anything else we missed
Okay chill I didn’t understand the movie on first watch and that’s why I rewatch thru commentaries bc they usually get it spot on with great attention to detail unlike people like us who vibe to the music instead on subtitles and try our best lol
Cory was onto something when he said she gets abuela’s gift which is basically to hold the house together and she had to do it all alone with triplets after losing her love so I wouldn’t blame her for being crotchety but blaming mirabel is when she needs to step back and reanalyze bc she doesn’t realize that she’s coming for her throne next lol
The message of elemental was so powerful and there were soooo many directional themes from mixed love, unity, equality, differences, parental burden/guilt, the list goes on
Isabella looks like Grandma when she was young and the guy looked like a buff grandpa was why Grandma was pushing it on Isa. And why the cactus was important, Isa felt she had to always be 100% perfect and symmetrical because grandma living vicariously through her and forcing it. So the cactus wasn't just not perfect, it was a symbol of the first thing she felt she could do for herself and not for Grandmas perfection. Also Mirabelle's original gift was probably to take Grandma's place. Her door disappeared because she basically owns the house itself because granny is getting old and someone needs to be the holder of the candle to pass on gifts.
I feel like this is a movie that would be worth rewatching sometime without the cameras rolling. There's just so much happening in this movie that the first time I watched it, I was pretty overwhelmed and I definitely got a lot more out of it on rewatch when I was able to focus better. i completely agree with the mirabel/Isabela thing, Isabela was nothing but an awful person to her sister, even if she was dealing with her own stuff, it’s not an excuse. it feels weird that just isabela realizing that she can use her powers for more than flowers just magically makes everything different lol as someone who can relate to the position she was in and pressure she was dealing with, it’s never an excuse, she didn’t even apologized to mirabel for how badly she treated her, if she at least had done that, the hug moment would’ve felt genuine. it’s the only thing i dislike about the movie and how this specific family dynamic was handled, still lowkey dislike Isabela to this day ngl

Down side to both Antonio and Isabella rooms; His room would have a lot of animal excrement so that smell horrible. Her room smell like a Lush shop 24/7
I think the angry viewers need to be mindful that this is a commentary channel so they are going to talk over things and inevitably miss out some points. You cant condemn them for being "too busy making jokes" when comedy is a part of their brand. There are tons of commentary channels on youtube but personally i watch them for their humour/unique takes and generally just for shits and giggles. Suggesting they cut down on what makes their videos unique or entertaining would defeat the purpose of watching them in the first place. So while i understand the frustration and criticism, it's also important for us to manage our expectations accordingly and embrace their style for what it is. And for nick and cory, (idk if u alr do this but) it wouldn't hurt for you guys to pause the movie to make a joke or even rewind the parts that u missed while talking. That way, you can still keep your humor front and center while ensuring you don’t miss any key moments.
Yeah I agree but I have never seen people talk so much that they completely miss important scenes. If you feel that you have a lot to say then you need to like some of the reaction channels that pause the video and speak for a minute or two before pressing play.
say that all you want but like you said there are reaction channels that focus on humoring the audience but guess what. they arent confused about the plot or miss things that was JUST said because they can pay attention at the same time. like i agree withyou but you are also just wrong
You guys are pretty annonying with your non-stop yapping. But I've gotta admit the "Dora Croft" quip was pretty clever to come up with after the parkour scene. So well done there.
Honestly? Y’all are great! If people actually bothered to watch this, they would realize y’all ARE paying attention, but also just on some cactus juice level of commentary (nothing wrong with that)! Corey picked up in a surprising amount of the underlying themes, and Nick… I’m sorry but you’re just hot. Like from one dude to another, you could “lay down your load” on me any time! 😅😌 Pausing would probably help, but most people probably don’t realize how long it would take to FILM something like this, so y’all keeping doing you, and those that don’t like it can just f*ck off somewhere else! 🍻

I've never seen 2 people completely miss the point of every act of a movie but still understand it when they were being stupid.😂😂
Not Cory being mad at Mariano for being just like him…. 🤣🤣🤣
mirabels power is the house,,,
Nick is so cute :P
@@curlyxcoco yeah thats fair ig
12:24 she literally removed the freaking magic on her dress😭💀
Okay, you guys are not into musicals, noted
The ashes of her family 😂 oh my gosh 🤦♀️🤣
13:44 - She is like Zack Morris from 'Saved By The Bell'.
Talk as much as you want. Y’all are funny as hell
You really think so? Um…ok 🤷🏻♂️
@@GenXDaddyOwhat’s your deal 😂 oh, sorry apparently according to you everyone else’s opinions are invalid cause they’re not yours
Also continue the Emily in Paris series 😁
5:09 that was my reaction too when i saw Luisa
Non tally talk 😂 the non-blood family members don’t have powers. also, Rome still exists. Maybe you meant the Roman Empire😂
I just got an idea they should watch the barbie movies. the classic ones
The fact that y’all don’t know what encanto is scares me
i just watch so i can see em talk🤣
Hey would you guys ever react to Agatha all along I think you would like it❤
Am I tweaking, or was this posted once before?😂
I have never been this early before
