    The fact he said people ratchet strap it to a tree is hilarious because that’s exactly what I did with mine when I had to get mine off 😂 bro was calling me out

    Excellent Video, Thank You! FYI on my 94 XP with a 657 there was no collar on the shaft, it just comes out with the pump assembly. I did have to ratchet strap it to a tree to take it off and pull HARD.

    A lot of videos with this instruction are lousy. They don't tell you every detail, or the videography is terrible. This is BEST one. I've criticized the lousy ones and the authors have hit back saying they can't afford a videographer. Tough! don't make the video if you can't do it right.

    Great video! Are the hose fittings the same on the GTX Di pump? I need to pull my pump for repairs but the catalogue seems to make it look different in the pictures. Thanks!!

    Where do you get the neoprene ring?
    Do you have a video on rebuilding the impeller housing (impeller, bearings, etc)

    What ski is that for? And now i know how bad my pump is. The cone is destroyed that heavy washer as well the shaft. My impeller almost slides out half the pump housing

    You're the man. Those original boot clamps on the drive shaft are a bitch, mine's collar was upside down with no access, I wiz-wheeled mine off, it was ugly, I knicked the boot.

    Hey guys-- I'm trying to figure out how to do this on a 95 SPX. Not sure what all is needed inside the hull to get the thing removed. Any tips??

    U mention at ~13:30 an engine alignment video, link below, but I don’t see the link or video.
    Here’s my situation. 97 XP. Motor mount busted, which caused the driveshaft/PTO output teeth to snap. All of that was replaced luckily. Very hard to find parts and harder to find mechanic in my area (mid-Michigan). My guy is older & has wealth of experience & is a great guy, but only does work on the side when his schedule allows, which is rare. XP is back together & running. But I have the fear of it breaking again.

    The Sea Doo parts diagram calls for 0.3mm shims on the 4 studs (between the hull and pump housing). I noticed you guys aren't running them. Any reason why?

    bought a 97 xp that doesn't turn over, after taking head off some rust on cylinder walls and is seized. should i just do a new top end to avoid pulling pump/engine?

    • @TodayWeWrench
      @TodayWeWrench  4 месяца назад

      I would be pulling the pump regardless. If you have rust in the cylinders chances are it ingested water and its gonna need a whole engine though

      Yes OSD sells a kit that comes with the carrier bearing and coupler
