Armorers Wrench(s) 🔧 | You May Need More Than One

- For those of you who have one of these type of styles of armorers wrench, these 2 are the ones I would recommend considering ease of use, how robust it is.
Magpul Armorers wrench is very strong, yet very expensive. I love the straightness of it without any funky angles and it could do just about anything you need it to. I also really appreciate the torque specs of the parts engraved on it as well.
Truglo wrench can do your castle nut without having to go over the buffer tube and it obviously has the 3 hole barrel nut adapter. Seems to align perfectly for my needs and has two torque wrench adapters built in.

It’s kind of surprising AP doesn’t include a wrench for that barrel nut. I just got one of their Atlas rails with a proprietary barrel nut and it came with a special wrench head for it and has a bunch of cutouts for the gas tube and even a bunch of shims making it ridiculously easy to install. I’d be pissed if I were in your shoes too. Aero usually does a great job with their stuff for the money.
The shims for the barrel nut are required for that reason. I saved the extras as I know you likely did :D Never know when you might need one or the shim kits for muzzle devices.

I picked up the Midwest Industries tool last year during black Friday. That Tru Glo looks pretty interesting. Will have to pick one up. Thanks for the video.
I love their handguards so much, that I’m sure their wrench is solid as well.
I’ve got a blue handled adjustable angle grinder wrench. Might have come from harbor fright.
