Former land girls worked together with students from Cardinal Newman School, Brighton & Hove, to make this new film about wartime experiences. Find out why they decided to become land girls, how they settled into life in the countryside and dealt with the dangers of work on the land.

How wonderful, thank you students from Cardinal Newman School. How lovely to hear the women themselves speaking of their experiences, so far I have only read accounts. We have created a short film on the uniform and work of the Women’s Land Army for our Crow’s Eye Productions RUclips Channel. It is very much a tribute to the work of the WLA.
