    Fantastic review. Thank you.
    I was debating with myself between the Scribe and the Remarkable 2, and based on this review, I think that the Scribe seems like the way to go for my usages. I tried the Remarkable at a store, and it's really nice, but I do read a lot, and the Scribe seems to be a better option to replace my PaperWhite.

    A big fault with the current Kindle software is not being able to actually remove a book from the home page back to the library, and not have it showing on the home page. This can be done on the Kindle App for the iPhone & iPad. I don't like all the clutter of books I have purchased but not read on the home page screens of my actual Kindle and Scribe.

    This is a really informative video! Just curious, can you doodle over PDFs? I have scanned textbooks that I want to write over for my classes and as much as I love e-ink tablets, I'm deciding between getting a Scribe or a mini ipad with a stylus. This is complicated by the release of the Kobo Libra Colour which I believe lets you doodle over books.

    • @jamesleeshin
      @jamesleeshin  Месяц назад

      You can’t doodle or write freely over PDFs, very limited to a few PDFs that you can on. You can take notes but it’ll be saved separately in “notes”

    Hi and thanks for the video. I have a question about one very specific circumstance. I often receive emails from people asking me to mark up the content or if it is ok, to sign the content. Is it easy to send things that are emailed to me to the kindle scribe, mark up the document, sign it, and send it back to a certain email?

    It´s an amazing device and the best e reader I've owned, but it is extremely fragile. One accidental drop and the screen is gone. Amazon refuses to repair it even if you pay for it. I am back to my Paperrwhite 2013, which has suffered many falls and it´s still working as if it was still 2013. The problem is now the screen looks miniscule, I am thinking on buying a Inkpad Lite. No more kindles for me, terrible customer service.

    I don’t understand the comment - “the screen can get very bright if needed in the daylight.” Bright daylight is the time that you don’t need any screen light at all.

    • @jamesleeshin
      @jamesleeshin  3 месяца назад +12

      Absolutely, I appreciate your focus on this. The point is, similar to needing less light in the dark, a bright screen in daylight enhances visibility, ensuring a clear view even under the sun!
