I use to be a Nottingham Forest fan in the late 70s to mid 80s until I realised I was a Brummie living in Birmingham and then I became a Birmingham City FC fan but Forest will always be my second team and I'm chuffed they got promoted CMON FOREST

One of the best turn around in a season for any team in recent memory. It seems like we would never be able to leave this 2nd tier division until this magical run. 23 years is way to long.
I just don't see them as clear penalties. Arguably yes, but its a physically game...and more so in front of goal, but never were they intentional trips.Forest were lucky here, but bad decisions also stopped auto-promotion. It was just our time.

23 years of wait is over since then the club has tried there best to bounce back playing 3 seasons in League One which was a new low but they became a solid established Championship side again once Cooper came in performances were getting better and better despite that horrible third kit hurts my eyes that does but now Premier League one person who would have loved to see that is Brian Clough a man who won countless of trophies at Nottingham Forest he would have been proud to see them win promotion once again

For the sake of the Premier League, it's good that a giant of a club like Forest are back there. I understand that getting out of the Championship [or any league] is earned and no club has a right to any position in any league. But, it can't be argued that the likes of Brentford, Bournemouth or Fulham [to a lesser extent] can create anything like the atmosphere or anticipation of Forest v one of the top sides. The introduction of mega money into smaller clubs [and parachute payments] has meant that where once attendances and gate receipts were a big determining factor of players that clubs could attract [and therefore teams that they could build] is now no longer how clubs make most of their money. I don't think the likes of Forest being in the wilderness for over 20 years is good for the game. Fans make clubs, not some owner with very deep pockets. I hope that Forest can now regain their rightful place in the top league in England for many years to come and the likes of Brentford and Bournemouth eventually fade away back to the level where they obviously belong.

Few can begrudge those supporters who have been fantastic. Huge addition to the prem because they'll bring something else to it, sure it's got history it's probably the most iconic sleeping giant in world football...but it's also a community club, some of the big boys have lost that a bit. Also a fantastic city to visit for away supporters
Early 70s pre BC were a grim time too, only relieved by odd moments of Duncan McKenzie magic. Bottom half of the old 2nd division playing in front of 11,000 fans in a pretty decrepit stadium.
