@@TheSansfromundertale they kind of mess up the tone a bit in places; what are supposed to be dark areas randomly having bright lighting, killing the intended atmosphere meant to bw lit by a flashlight (wheras new graphic make it easy to get around without them). Without spoiling, it makes certain intended elements of the game appear nonexistent, such as a swamp that really is just pretty in new graphics instead of being mysterious and murky like it should be in the old. Also, in a lot of missions but most notably one later, there are times where the new graphics dont align with the original map that it's pasted over. In the aforementioned mission, you can literally walk through a wall because it didnt exist in the original graphics. No other game does it as good as this one. And the punching mechanic is also a 10/10 satisfying add-on. I love that the first thing you noticed was the music because that too is what drew me in as a kid. It’s so immersive and REALLY fun. My dad and I play on legendary all the time and we still wish it was more challenging 😂
Agreed 110%!!! Didn't expect this after just finishing Mass Effect yesterday but it sure is welcome! Halo:CE was the first game I EVER played!! Also helps that I just went thru it on ledgy in a day last weekend 😅
Halo has a very very special place in my heart. I grew up playing heavily and even had the collectors edition of halo 2 on the orginal xbox. Seeing people get into it for the first time is truly amazing and heartwwarming for me!
Halo Ce is basically the opposite of 'janky' in almost every way. Epic, well designed music, smooth, fluid gameplay that incorporates never before conceptualized tactics, fully functional and satisfying vehicles, HUGELY reactive enemies (they get mad, get scared, freak out, etc.) and much more, such as certain plot twists you'd never see coming that give it a dark, gritty tone.
Eh, no it's pretty janky. Just think about how you instantly die to a vehicle or turret even just slightly touching you. And the ghost in CE feels like it was made to be uncontrollably. CEA makes it even more finicky with textures not aligning to geometry making the cursed shooting things that you don't see.
@Skylancer727 cea is janky sure, but not CE. the one bit of manliness I can agree on is instant death to moving objects, but that also makes it really fun and a bit easier to splatter enemies with the warthog. But there's a difference between an overall janky game, and a solid game with a janky mechanic.
Hahahahhahah "I'm going to save everyone (marines)" Then proceeds to kill half the squad with the warthog, and squash the warthog in the rocks.... 😂😂😂😂
@@LUCYJROBYN not even new players, it's just one of the quirky charming things that happen in CE to everyone. Chips, Johnson and Stacker always come back though so don't feel bad about them

Hi Lucy. Looking forward to watching this series! Something worth knowing is that Halo was released at a time when everyone read instruction manuals, so the introduction to Halo's story and universe, why the characters are where they are, is first told in this section from the manual, which people read before playing the game: "THE STORY SO FAR... The year is 2552. Planet Earth still exists, but overpopulation has forced many of her former residents to colonize other worlds. Faster-than-light travel is now a reality, and Earth’s unified government, through the United Nations Space Command, has put its full weight behind the colonization effort-millions of humans now live on habitable planets in other solar systems. A keystone of humanity’s colonization efforts is the planet Reach, an interstellar naval yard that builds colony ships for civilians and warships for the UNSC’s armed forces. Conveniently close to Earth, Reach is also a hub of scientific and military activity. Twenty-seven years ago, contact with the outer colony Harvest was lost. A battlegroup sent to investigate was almost completely destroyed; only one badly damaged ship returned to Reach. Its crew told of a seemingly unstoppable alien warship that had effortlessly annihilated their forces. This was humankind’s first encounter with a group of aliens they eventually came to know as the Covenant, a collective of alien races united in their fanatical religious devotion. Covenant religious elders declared humanity an affront to the gods, and the Covenant warrior caste waged a holy war upon humanity with gruesome diligence. After a series of crushing defeats and obliterated colonies, UNSC Admiral Preston Cole established the Cole Protocol: no vessel may inadvertently lead the Covenant to Earth. When forced to withdraw, ships must avoid Earth-bound vectors-even if that means jumping without proper navigational calculations. Vessels in danger of capture must self-destruct. On Reach, a secret military project to create cyborg super-soldiers takes on newfound importance. The soldiers of the SPARTAN-II project rack up an impressive record against the Covenant in test deployments, but there are too few of them to turn the tide of the war. Existing SPARTAN-II soldiers are recalled to Reach for further augmentation. The plan: board a Covenant vessel with the improved SPARTAN-IIs and learn the location of the Covenant home world. Two days before the mission begins, Covenant forces strike Reach and annihilate the colony. The Covenant are now on Earth’s doorstep. One ship, the Pillar of Autumn, escapes with the last SPARTAN-II and makes a blind jump into deep space, hoping to lead the Covenant away from Earth. YOU ARE THE MASTER CHIEF... all that remains of a classified military project to build a series of genetically enhanced super-soldiers. You are humanity’s last and best hope against the Covenant-but you’re woefully outmatched, and survival is not guaranteed." Anyway, hope you enjoy Halo as much as the rest of us. Can't wait to see more! Edit: Also, for a more authentic experience (my preferred way to play) you can activate the original graphics with one of the buttons while playing and the original music from the menu. You might already know that - I'm still early into the video.
@@LUCYJROBYN if you would like some more backstory on Chief, the events of the war and the lead up to this game i would recommend, Halo: Contact Harvest, which details the beginning of the war, Halo: The Cole Protocol, and Halo: The Fall of Reach, which is the Chiefs and other Spartan IIs backstory and is the direct prequel to this game.
On that point - this has got to be at least the 4th person I have seen start the Ganme who kept overcharging the covenant pistol, because they thought it naturally had to work like a machine gun, or semi-auto pistol. So, if you read this, Lucy, holding it down "overcharges" and generates a shield breaker shot, but you can also rapidly click the trigger to fire weak shots, which do not kill the power cell as fast, but are more like bullets.
My sweet summer child. When you said on the 2nd level, halo, "These guys shouldn't be in combat." It made me happy. You crank that difficulty on halo and it's like playing a totally different game. Watching you play reminds me of my first play through.
Yes friendly fire. The Pillar of Autumn makes a cameo in Mass Effect 2, its silhouette can bee seen in with the junk floating around just after you go through the Omega relay into the Collectors space.
if you put on the old graphics you can see this better, but you can see it happen with the new graphics- on the elites - they have shields like you - when you are shooting them you can see the shield "pop" once this happen switch to the pistol and one headshot takes them out (they are usually stunned or angry when this happens) also note when you hear the beep beep beep you shields are low and you need cover to let the them charge. The plasma pistol that charges up - take shields out instantly and it tracks too, charge fire - while the ball is in flight switch to pistol and as soon as it land pop enemy in the head :)
This has been my favorite video to watch in a long time. Seeing someone enjoy Halo CE for the first time and essentially experience the thrills and excitement that I experienced when I first played it some 20 years ago is honestly so wholesome. Hope you enjoyed the game and keep playing through the franchise. The story is honestly so dang good and the gameplay only gets better. Cheers!
I'd recommend avoiding the terminals in future; they were an addition for the 2011 anniversary edition and while not containing spoilers they're more intended for players who are already familiar with where the story goes. They'll only serve to confuse you. I also recommend using the old graphics as the anniversary graphics fail to capture a lot of the atmosphere and mood of game especially in some of the later levels. Also the Australian marine is named Chips Dubbo and as an Australian myself he is obviously my favourite character.
Sgt. Johnson is just the best. He’s just got the right kind of attitude that would make anyone follow him into battle. Lore fact for you, Master Chief is actually his rank. I think you’ll greatly enjoy this series. After I was able to get my own Xbox, the MCC was one of the first things I got on it. So different playing as an adult who can retain all the things vs being a kid playing it at a friend’s house
@@LUCYJROBYN Sgt Johnson has different lines for his intro speech on each difficulty. They get more badass and ridiculous on higher levels. Check out the cutscenes if you get a chance
@@LUCYJROBYN A secret bit of lore for Johnson that you don't get in any of the games. I'll leave space so you can avoid the spoiler if you don't want to see it. While Master Chief and his generation of Spartans are considered Spartan II's, Johnson could be considered a Spartan I. This is why he doesn't get infected by the flood like everyone else that was with Keyes.
just bringing this to your attention. its a pretty big consensus that the original graphics for halo CE has a better “atmosphere” than the remaster. but if you play halo2, that remaster is AMAZING!!!
@@LUCYJROBYN maybe try using a few more of the different weapons. The AR is decent against most enemies but the human pistol is insane and makes gameplay very fun. The covenant weapons are generally less effective but they can be fun to mess around with. And every weapon has a cool looking melee attack that you’ll want to abuse so don’t miss that. Love the videos.
@@LUCYJROBYN Shotgun with a quick punch is a solid way to deal damage to elites, charged plasma pistol and a headshot from the magnum (noob combo) is also a solid choice. Grunts and jackals you pretty much just want headshots but elites and hunters you should attack from behind if you can. I know you're a couple episodes in now so I'm sure you're learning the feel of the weapons. If you want to try something many of us did back in the day, try a rocket jump into a snipe, doesn't matter what you get but it feels amazing to do
Someone could play this game for the first time a hubdred years kn the future and they still will be blown away by the music. Theres a lot that separates Halo from everything else, but the music will always be a class above everything else out there.
Okay, I'm two minutes in and your reaction to the music has sold me - another sister joins the ranks of Halo music appreciators and you've got me subbed and watching this series!! I really hope the gets you playing all the games! Going through the campaign blind with friends, and watching others do blind runs, is one of my favorite things with this series. No spoilers from me - just enjoy! Also one more note on the music - Marty O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori created all the music for the original trilogy (plus ODST and Reach). Marty is a regular on RUclips now and likes to pop into the comments of videos for playthroughs (especially if you like the music!). He really is an impressive composer and there are *so many* fantastic themes that wind their way through all the games, rewarding you for paying attention to it. With the theme I always felt an Irish vibe in there too - I wonder if it isn't the mode that it's in (Dorian)? The monks chanting definitely gives a mystical, vaguely Druidic and monasterial vibe to me. Anyway, cheers!!
@@LUCYJROBYN I hope you stick it out to Halo 3 - by then they had a full orchestra to work with and it takes this music to a whole other level! Enjoy 😊
Knowing this was your first ever time playing, it crushed my soul seeing how quickly you navigated the maze in the first level. I played again last week and I STILL get lost there lmao. Great video!
It's always fun watching a new player trying to get use to the gameplay, especially in the Warthog, while also trying to keep other marines alive and seeing their reaction when it doesn't go to plan.
@@LUCYJROBYN As someone who beta tested CE (ask to see my special nameplate), I spend a lot of time lately watching people experience the franchise for the first time - so if you ever have a question, feel free to ask me or any of us here... and, yes, there are novels which are all 100% canon save for the very first one that has been 50% retconned in years since due to it being finished both before CE was finalized *and* before Bungie realized that Halo was going to be a massive franchise
I've played halo since 2001. Got all the achievements save for laso and sub 2 hour legendary runs. And at 10:16 I've never heard that line before. It's amazing the little details
Do not underestimate the magnum pistol. It may be small and shoot one round but you can do serious damage with it. I survived half of the Pillar of Autumn mission using mostly the Magnum. If you can shoot the hunters in the back with it, you can take em down in one or two shots. And shooting grunts in the head with it is almost just as if not more fun then melee attacks. Also welcome to Halo!
I was 9 years old when this game came out. This game changed my life forever and the music has been so damn iconic even to this day. I wish Halo collection was on playstation 😒
I am loving your gameplay, keep at it! If you are interested in finding more about lore, the "little ones" that keep running away from you, are the Ungoi. Don't want to spoil anything in case you want to find out for yourself but their lore explains why they seem to be untrained and scared when you kill their leaders. It is also a sad plot for a race. Halo has a lot of lore on the internet and comics explain a lot of the things the game doesn't cover.
@@LUCYJROBYN Xbox had it together back then. Mass Effect was also a product of Xbox. Notice that music. It didn't become available to PlayStation until EA bought them.
Combat Evolved doesn't use a real orchestra, Halo 2 was the first in the series to do so though I'm not sure if it was the first video game in general to use a full orchestra.
44:00 These terminals are better to watch after you're done with Halo 3, or even later. They were added in the Anniversary edition of the game, ten years after the original, and after four more games in the series had come out. Some of them even have spoilers for later games too
I always love it when people play the old halo games for the first time 🙂 I love watching them experience it like I did for the first time when I was young. I would highly recommend playing it on the old graphics!
oh hell yea, Fall of Reach is good stuff, Eric Nylund also has a little known 2 book series, they're Signal to Noise and Signal Shattered and both are pretty cool in their own right
I remember being in highschool when I first played H:CE. And man, I too was blown away by that main menu music. There'd be times I'd just stay in the menu, listening to the soundtrack, mesmerized, watching the Halo ring orbit in the background.
Halo CE definitely aint janky, but it is old. I think its good to appreciate the classics. There are a lot of gems that people just assume dont live up to the hype anymore but absolutely do. Halo's one of them.
Using the MA5b? Good lass XD Also, 1:11:12 RIP to the chad marine who got stuck by a plasma grenade and jumped out of the warthog to save everyone else 😢
If they’re not too old for you, stylistically the old graphics are much better. The new ones ruin the tone and atmosphere with things like black dark areas are now like a rave lol
@lucyjrobyn I don't think the game is janky, I think people are so used to super fast shooters like Call of Duty, PUG G, or Fortnite that modern games are overly smooth to the point of brain scrambling. It is a bit awkward to come back to slowing down and pacing yourself. Lol.
Its always so fun to see people experience Halo for the first time, I love to experience it vicariously through your first time. if this does become something you are interested in and dive deeper into the books are great to give you a bit more context to the lore but the games always come first when it deals with what is canon. There are some movies and and shows that you could watch as well like The Fall of Reach which will explain what Master Chief is. Foward onto Dawn one youd have to watch after Halo 3 and before Halo 4 just for continuity sake. Also a heads up the community starts to split heavily at Halo 4 and 5, it will get very toxic ngl but in all honesty you should still go through them despite what anyone else says because at the end of the day only you can decide what you like and dont like. anyways would be nice to see this expand on your channel and watch your journey glad you like it so far.
Janky, she says. Glad you got into it and really resonated with the experience. Great introduction to a seminal entry in the pantheon of terrific games.
Hey nice playthrough! I do love seeing someone experience this amazing franchise for the first time, is so meaningful.. I've seen lots of requesting comments telling you to play the game in the original graphics, I really believe playing in whatever graphics you feel like it is fine to me, that's it, by the way, enjoy playing the game and hope you get more into the franchise, the lore is mind-blowing. Thank you for playing this game. ❤
And the algorithm brings me some more joy! It's always a treat to find someone new experiencing my favorite game series. It's like getting to play for the first time all over again! A helpful tip, you can carry two different weapons and swap with Y on the controller. You should try them all out, there's a ton of options and Halo is great about making every weapon feel unique and have different uses! Plasma weapons tend to work better against shields, while bullets work better against unshielded enemies, especially later in the game.
Halo CE is the first game in my life that I actually finished the story/campaign mode of. Halo CE and Max Payne both, I forget which one I finished first because I was less than 10 back then. Before that, I used to just start new games and play them till I got bored or reached a hard part, either way, I'd leave them unfinished.
It is so interesting to see someone playing Halo for the first time. I first played it over 10 years ago so the memories of my first experiences are foggy but it is great to relive the thrill through someone else, especially since it is so rare to find someone who's never played before.
Adding another comment - this one with suggestions (non-spoiler, non-backseat-gamer) just because I know I'll want to comment them at some stage or another 🤓 Hopefully you read these: ADS - Halo is one of those shooters that plays great without ADS, up there with Doom and Metroid. But the Pistol has a zoom, and the zoom is worth it. Halo 1 is a funny game because its Pistol is pretty much a precision rifle. WARTHOG - It will take some practice, but think of it like a boat. You need to look in the direction you want to go (use the little arrow on your screen) and then it'll drive in that direction. Do big, sharp swings in each direction rather than lots of micro turns. That's how you drive a Warthog! You're not technically turning it. Rather, it's turning for you in the direction you're facing, so face that direction early. WEAPONS - Halo has a great assortment of weapons with different functions all useful in their own right. You picked up the Plasma Pistol's strength quicker than most new players. Keep trying different weapons in different scenarios and you should enjoy the game even more! GRENADES - You can throw them much further. Master Chief has an arm on him! But you can figure out how by playing. Finally, the gameplay is designed around the Classic graphics. Play in whichever graphics mode you like - most people tend to keep switching between the two. But I'll mention an example that shows one reason I prefer the Classic graphics. If you'd played on Classic mode instead of Anniversary when looking for that Light Bridge switch, you would have found it waaay earlier due to the navigational lighting. Will be watching, however you play. The freedom of choice Halo offers is one of the best things about it. Again, can't wait to see more 😁
So glad I found your channel, welcome to my favorite franchise ever! The music is some of the best and most iconic in gaming history, so epic! Buckle up for a wild ride and amazing story!!

You know it's a good sign when you just spend time appreciating the music, you should definitely consider reaction the Halo Lore videos after you've done the first 3, by then you'll know enough about the universe that it wont be spoilers, and there's so many vids to see, especially the live action trailers!

@@LUCYJROBYN343 Guilty Spark and the level directly after it must be played on original graphics! New graphics completely ruin the atmosphere of the levels
A big part of Halo tactics is to understand the interaction of weapon types and enemy defense. Energy weapons like the plasma pistol, especially with a full charge, will wipe out enemy shields in a single shot, allowing slug-throwing weapons to be more effective against soft targets. So swapping between weapons to take down tough enemies can be an important strategy. Also, the Warhog handles like a boat. You typically have to oversteer to get it to point the direction you want it to go quickly.
I like that she says she feels bad for the little ones (grunts) not even knowing that the lore behind them is essencially that they were forvefully indoctrinated into the covanant and used as cannon fodder (hence why theyre called grunts). But there's a difference between an overall janky game, and a solid game with a janky mechanic.
Hahahahhahah "I'm going to save everyone (marines)"
Then proceeds to kill half the squad with the warthog, and squash the warthog in the rocks.... 😂😂😂😂
😂😂 please say this is a common thing that all new players do, right? Right??

Hi Lucy. Looking forward to watching this series! Something worth knowing is that Halo was released at a time when everyone read instruction manuals, so the introduction to Halo's story and universe, why the characters are where they are, is first told in this section from the manual, which people read before playing the game:
"THE STORY SO FAR...
You are humanity’s last and best hope against the Covenant-but you’re woefully outmatched, and survival is not guaranteed."
Anyway, hope you enjoy Halo as much as the rest of us. Can't wait to see more!
Edit: Also, for a more authentic experience (my preferred way to play) you can activate the original graphics with one of the buttons while playing and the original music from the menu. You might already know that - I'm still early into the video.
Thank you for this!! I’m going to read it with my morning coffee
@@LUCYJROBYN You're welcome!
And I saw you discovered the graphics button :D
Been binge watching ppl play Halo for the first time lately. Cool that you popped up on my feed and just starting it too. Hope you enjoy
Thank you, welcome!
Yes friendly fire.
The Pillar of Autumn makes a cameo in Mass Effect 2, its silhouette can bee seen in with the junk floating around just after you go through the Omega relay into the Collectors space.
Omg cool! I will have to go find it
Love watching people play the Halo Franchise for the first time. Looking forward to future episodes! Installation00 Standing by.
Welcome!🙏🏼 I look forward to watching some of your vids once I’ve got a bit further in the games
if you put on the old graphics you can see this better, but you can see it happen with the new graphics- on the elites - they have shields like you - when you are shooting them you can see the shield "pop" once this happen switch to the pistol and one headshot takes them out (they are usually stunned or angry when this happens)
also note when you hear the beep beep beep you shields are low and you need cover to let the them charge.
The plasma pistol that charges up - take shields out instantly and it tracks too, charge fire - while the ball is in flight switch to pistol and as soon as it land pop enemy in the head :)
Thank you!
Cheers!
Thank you for such a lovely comment, I’m so glad you’re enjoying the videos!💚
I'd recommend avoiding the terminals in future; they were an addition for the 2011 anniversary edition and while not containing spoilers they're more intended for players who are already familiar with where the story goes. They'll only serve to confuse you. I also recommend using the old graphics as the anniversary graphics fail to capture a lot of the atmosphere and mood of game especially in some of the later levels.
Also the Australian marine is named Chips Dubbo and as an Australian myself he is obviously my favourite character.
Yeah I was left very confused after watching that first one ha! I’ll come back to them later 😊 thanks
This is good advice, they don't make a lot of sense without the context of the in-game stories already being in your head.
I agree, I was excited to go into battle with him!
Looking forward to it!
I say this all the time: I absolutely love that the design aesthetic for the UNSC ships is essentially “here’s a giant gun, now strap an engine to it”
Lmaooo class
Gotta respect using bursts with the AR. It's truly a bullet hose but accuracy with it is a very Spartan thing to do
Is there another way I should try?
@@LUCYJROBYN maybe try using a few more of the different weapons. The AR is decent against most enemies but the human pistol is insane and makes gameplay very fun. The covenant weapons are generally less effective but they can be fun to mess around with.
And every weapon has a cool looking melee attack that you’ll want to abuse so don’t miss that. Love the videos.
@@LUCYJROBYN that pistol that the captain gave you is the best weapon in the game
The plasma pistol's charged up shot can DISABLE VEHICLES. You'll need that later on
@@LUCYJROBYN Shotgun with a quick punch is a solid way to deal damage to elites, charged plasma pistol and a headshot from the magnum (noob combo) is also a solid choice.
It's sooo unique, I love it
Halo CE, Halo 2 & Halo 3 are the greatest games ever made
Change my mind
watching you experience the music for the first time is amazing in and of itself, even without the game
Wooo welcome and thank you! I was really taken aback by the music, it’s so epic
Haha I'm glad you enjoy!
We're glad to have you, lass - through 8 main games, and two RTS 💪
I’m so ready!
Love that! Glad to share something new with a true vet 😊
The voice of the Master Chief is Steve Downes. How many teenagers fell in love with Cortana? Just wait until you see her appearance in Halo 4?
Do not underestimate the magnum pistol. It may be small and shoot one round but you can do serious damage with it. I survived half of the Pillar of Autumn mission using mostly the Magnum. If you can shoot the hunters in the back with it, you can take em down in one or two shots. And shooting grunts in the head with it is almost just as if not more fun then melee attacks. Also welcome to Halo!
Lucy, Welcome to the family. You have a new sub now ❣
Thank you! I feel right at home already.
“When you first heard Halo music, were you blinded by its majesty?”
omg, I'm so glad you've picked this up. hope you have a blast!
Thank you! It's been so fun
Oh nooo I'm about to have my heart broken even more!
One of the reasons why this game is iconic is it is the first video game to use a full orchestra.
Very cool! I still can’t get over how good the music is
@@LUCYJROBYN Xbox had it together back then.
I'm pretty sure CE's music was all synths and done on computer. Halo 2 or 3 was the first to use an orchestra in the series.
Another gem from the past is the Fable series.
Yes! I think I played Fable 2 but I hardly remember anything about it.

These terminals are better to watch after you're done with Halo 3, or even later. They were added in the Anniversary edition of the game, ten years after the original, and after four more games in the series had come out. Some of them even have spoilers for later games too
Noted, thanks!
The music in this game just evokes something so primal and powerful. They did NOT need to go this hard but I'm so glad they did.
these games have such amazing storytelling. Odst was my personal fave
Loving the vehicle mishaps 😂 don't worry, I think we all started there
Ahaha I got most kills by vehicle I think
Halo CE definitely aint janky, but it is old. I think its good to appreciate the classics. There are a lot of gems that people just assume dont live up to the hype anymore but absolutely do. Halo's one of them.
I totally agree!

I've been flipping between the two, which I really appreciate having the option to do!
How I envy you! This game is still one of my favorites to this day. And yeah, the music ❤
0:15 JANKY?!?!?!?!?!?!?! You take that back
Listennn people told me Mass Effect 1 would be janky too and I LOVED that!
@lucyjrobyn I don't think the game is janky, I think people are so used to super fast shooters like Call of Duty, PUG G, or Fortnite that modern games are overly smooth to the point of brain scrambling. It is a bit awkward to come back to slowing down and pacing yourself. Lol.
@@fenrir7878 defo, not being able to sprint in this game really took a lot to get used to!
@@LUCYJROBYN sprinting was something that evolved through the series. It didn't exist in any games like that until the 360.
Thanks for the heads up! I will defo play through them all.
Janky, she says. Glad you got into it and really resonated with the experience. Great introduction to a seminal entry in the pantheon of terrific games.
Loving it! People also told me that Mass Effect 1 would be janky, but I loved that so much. I think I have a thing for old space games.
Awww that is awesome! That is high praise
It is so interesting to see someone playing Halo for the first time. I first played it over 10 years ago so the memories of my first experiences are foggy but it is great to relive the thrill through someone else, especially since it is so rare to find someone who's never played before.
I do really wish that the anniversary graphics weren't the default. I so wish people's first experience was the original graphics D:
Absolutely love that you are playing halo combat evolved. My true favourite of the series. Phenomenal video and gameplay Lucy. Stay awesome
Adding another comment - this one with suggestions (non-spoiler, non-backseat-gamer) just because I know I'll want to comment them at some stage or another 🤓 Hopefully you read these:
ADS - Halo is one of those shooters that plays great without ADS, up there with Doom and Metroid.
Again, can't wait to see more 😁
Thank you for all of this! I am so excited to explore more of this game and the series. Welcome!
So glad I found your channel, welcome to my favorite franchise ever! The music is some of the best and most iconic in gaming history, so epic! Buckle up for a wild ride and amazing story!!

I just found your channel and I Immediately loved the way you play respecting the game and enjoying every detail even if it's an old one
