The fact that the screen sits up from the body is SO nice for using it in laptop form ( though I use it mostly plugged into a 55" 4k Frame tv as a monitor at 120Hz. Runs cool, build quality is excellent, I would change the wasd key lighting, I don't like that they stand out becase it's otherwise semi-passable as a business machine in coffee shops. Super performant, overall for the price I got mine for ( $1500 ) it's a 9/10
What I'm starting to realize now, is that alot of these laptops that should be performing better that have the same CPU/GPU config probably only have 16gigs of ram and thus perform worse.
@@prakharpandey6672 lets see I am from India And New Laptops come very late in India If it is worth the value despite the taxes and high cost compared to U.S. Then I would buy it only. BTW I am thinking to buy Samsung Tab S8 and go for a cheap Ryzen 7600 pc
I would buy ANYTHING other than HP - OMEN 16" from 22 months ago and the THIRD SCREEN has just failed - HP are a rip off and produce rubbish which is not fit for sale or purpose.
HP is a rip-off - TWO display adapters in 1 and a half years: Omen 16" purchased June 2022 - screen failed in less than 5 months! Replaced under warranty - Screen just failed again for second time, HP wanta SIX MILLION NINE HUNDRED AND 50 THOUSAND RUPIAH ( $440! ) to replace it again. We are a non-profit who now have no laptop or means to replace this one for a more reliable and better quality brand. Be warned - the quality of Omen is absolute junk and a rip-off - I didn't see any issue with screens failing for any other brand like this. *We would appreciate if anyone could help us with this - since we are a charity, while HP just wants to profiteer.*
HP replaced the screen on the 25th January 2024 with the THIRD ONE - THAT THIRD SCREEN has now failed after almost exactly THREE MONTHS - HP has absolutely ZERO quality control and produces JUNK.
Just ordered the Omen a couple of days ago, I'll come back here to post a review

I like M16 2023 model. Because it looks more attractive with ethernet port

The brightness was only measured in SDR? The M16 exceeds 1,100 nits in HDR as measured by multiple other outlets.

The elephant in the room is that the G16 2023 comes with DDR4 RAM. At least here in Germany and the Netherlands. That disqualifies it for me.
