- Oh, it's another O-Class? Well, not quite. It's more in the vein of Royal Navy battlecruisers, actually - "what if we took this hypothetical 1920s design, stuck some WW1 tech on it & threw it in with Yamatos & Vermonts". But it's German, so no way I'm not reviewing this.
Also, curse you WG for making me use that camo...

the fact that u get nurnberg guns as secondaries is deadly especially with the secondary overload 3
At least by the description, they're the Zieten's L60s (like you said, Nürnberg's guns, but with slightly lower values), whereas the Prinz Rupprecht, Freddy etc. all have slightly later 150s (albeit again with the same stats we can see).
German 150s generally are quite deadly, although here, the 128mm autos are the real MVPs

The Camo part, it is HMS Marlborough camo. Atlantico's camo is kinda similar as well.
Just checked, DZP shares the similar concept combining the string flags and the green lines on the side. Atlantico has the similar green thing while Marlborough does have the flag things in one of her special camo.

All in all nice video but wg needs to think a bit about premiums as they struggle against tech tree which make no sense whatsoever 😢

I disagree a bit with the general comment on concealment being useless after the initial engagement. Having better concealment doesn’t just help you stay unspotted longer, it also makes it easier for you to disengage and reposition better. Because of this, I’ve started using concealment as standard for most BBs as well as cruisers.
One exception to this is something like secondary build GKs where to maximise your impact you need to be close enough that having a slightly better concealment is not really relevant whereas having better manoeuvrability can be very helpful, but with a more conventional BB build even the GK can benefit from being able to disengage and reposition.
Quite a few ships have the streamers along the rigging, and ships with the “war paint” have sashes running along the hull and super, DZP has streamers or garland running on the hull.

😂I'm crying when I see the comparison with Rupprecht. I mean sure, new ships are usually always fun, but this... this is just horrible. I love the Schlieffen so much, especially during sleepy server time where it's mostly 3v3. I'm not going to give WG any money over something better that I can easily get from the tech tree. The concealment as similar to Rupprecht, so is speed and traverse, which sounds like a joke.
That's pretty much the basis for my conclusion - a premium ship, especially a high-tier, needs to bring something unique to the table, but if it gets outclassed by a tech tree equivalent, then it becomes a collector's item.
Given that it's a T9, I'll guess sonar sweep or crate, which means it's likely not going to be a lot of them around, anyway.
You can have good games in this, and it's not really a _bad_ ship, but I personally wouldn't spend money on it.

Happy New Year to you, too! Well, that entirely depends on what you like. Graf Zeppelin is a pretty good carrier, but you'll need to know how to play (and enjoy) CVs. Cossack has plenty of guns, more of a destroyer leader / scout cruiser, but fun ship. Black Veneto I haven't tried, but engine boost + RR looks like a fun combo, although the rest of the ship is probably pretty close to the regular Veneto, so not hugely unique, if that's what you're after.

It looks like the Marlborough Camo or Atlantico War Paint camo
Smolensk striping. Atlantico green tassels. Smolensk or dezeven provincian special camo both have flaglets.
Nice video, thanks for the details if we want to spend so much money in gold haha. But i think you're quit harsh with this ship. Your game vs the Marseille isn't "clear" to show how bad this ship is. I mean T9 vs T10 is always scary + you start the fight with only the front turret BUT you win at the end. Pretty fair i think 🤔
Marseille at that range is a rough opponent. Those guns if they have APCS, they can shred BB’s at that range.

I'm sorry, it's one of those rounds where all you get is DDs. I've been there in my Yama, it's not fun, especially on an island-heavy map like this. But fortunately, that's not always the case :)

Schroder has better secondaries and way better aa compared to the rupp.
