This is one of my favorite Patty Griffin songs. I wish I could sing it, because the lyrics are amazing, but I don’t have the vocal range for it.

I honestly don’t know. I started by picking out the melody over chords, then adding filler notes. I think the most predominant roll is alternating thumb.
