"Many people think Omar is innocent." I think everyone but the police and the prosecution think he is innocent. Poor guy. If he had money and could communicate better, this wouldn't have happened. So unfair! The killer goes free. Who inherited all that? It didn't say she had children. I know things are changing but no one should be interrogated without someone to translate in a case like this. There are good cops that actually want to get the bad guy. Unfortunately, there is always just as many or more that just want to close a case.

i'm no expert in handwriting but the OMAR M'ATUER was written in strokes from a fully conscious and non-shaking hand, there are no signs of shakiness and the surroundings of the wall are bloodless, as far as i understand, going through such a traumatic life threatening situation one would be in such a shock and you would be shaking like a 20yr old washing machine, the person who wrote that was a cold blooded killer, she probably had ties to the mafia, it was a professional hit, somewhat personal.
but again, i'm just thinking about certain possibilities ehh.

It's also kind of odd that the blood doesn't seem to have run down the wall after the message was written for the first one. Maybe it's just the lower quality images from the photos that is making the strokes look cleaner than they really were. But it looks like the blood was drying out when it was written.
The second message (in the boiler room) looks much messier and you can actually see spots where the blood was dripping down, which would say to me that it was using fresh blood in comparison to the first message.
I wonder if the victim tried to escape into the boiler room and began writing a message before either dying from blood loss or being interrupted by the killer. The killer then tried to obscure the original message by using more blood, and then realized that they could write another message to frame someone else. They were probably using gloves (hence why there were no fingerprints), and either used a pool of blood closer to the spot with the first message or tried using blood from near the body. That would explain why the first message looks much cleaner.

Second case: Or it was the writing of a woman whod had her skull cracked open? I mean, people who have serious strokes will literally write what they think are perfectly legible sentences, and its actually just random squiggles or letters. I think its called Agraphia, but it can be cause by traumatic brain injuries as well, so she could have thought she wrote 'my son did this' but actually wrote just 'sceejd'. I unfortunately wouldnt put a lot onto that message.

If you do either of those things you never get to actually take the drugs and if your parents were just murdered, you are going to need ALL the drugs. Police know this more than any group of people besides the drug addicts themselves, especially in f**king Baltimore. They’ll ignore just about any norm or pattern when it helps them make a case.

Plenty of killers clean up after themselves to try and get rid of any evidence they left behind, especially when stabbing is involved (since it’s easy for your hand to slip and cut yourself, bleeding all over the floor). I don’t believe the son did it at all. The question of “why didn’t he get rid of the pills” is stupid. He’s an addict. He didn’t want to get rid of the pills, he just wanted to hide them so he didn’t get caught. That way he can still have them later.

3rd-I don’t think you can fairly rule out that she did not seal herself in. She had head trauma. She had blood loss. Whether the victim had been carried or not was irrelevant. An injured person may care more about separating themself from a threat than being easy for a paramedic to reach. If my house was attacked I would care more about barricading myself than making it easy for paramedics to reach me. Immediate survival would be my first concern. Adrenaline would drive out anything else.

    3rd case:
    1) The less-legible message has a palm print. Has the size been compared to her palm?
    2) The more-legible message: did they compare the width/height of the vertical/horizontal written strokes to the dimensions of her fingers?
    3) In the sitting photo she seems to have long fingernails. She'd probably leave nail marks, if she wrote it deliberately, by herself
    4) Were there bloody prints on the items blocking the door (the cot bed, the crowbar)? If she arranged these items herself, she'd leave prints (from the first writing)
    5) In the more-legible writing, below the words, there's some distinct imprint (clothing?). What is this shape? How does it relate to the writing person?
    6) The narrator says it was written either by the woman, Omar or a third person. "Written by" doesn't mean "willingly". The killer could've used her hand (she's unconscious or dead), or forced her to write (threatening a more painful death). If she was forced, the misspelling could've been deliberate, a hint that she's being forced
    7) The legible writing is above the door handle; it was written by a person standing, crouching or kneeling, not by someone lying on the ground

Omgosh, Omar was not the killer! That I can promise. #1 It was impossible that she wrote the note! In the boiler room there was not a blood trail or pool! That clarify's that she was already dead when she was placed there. If her heart was beating, then she was bleeding!
#2 A person who stabs someone 13 times will almost always have a cut hand! The force it takes + the slickness of the blood usually causes the hand to slip off the handle & on to the blade during the repetitive stabings!
#3 the surgery he had on his right hand was extensive. That would never have allowed him the incredible grip & force to have stabbed her 13 times. Even if he used his left hand, there would have been soich blood on the knife that he would have lost his grip.
#4 Did anyone notice the writing in the broiler room was higher up & more clearly written? She couldn't have stood up? Otherwise there would be a blood trail, blood on the doorways & All over both doors! After 5 blows to the head (considering the amount of blood on the piece of wood) she was bleeding profusely. Meaning that if she was conscious after the first blow, she would have tried to cover her head to protect it. Which would have left her hands covered in blood, especially after 5 blows. Hand prints would have been everywhere she went, bcus she would be unable to see?
I'm guessing She never got up!
This was personal. She knew her killer. That person new her house & Omar's Name! This person used more force then it took to kill her!
1 more thing to ponder. Why make the all the plans & send ur girlfriend to her parents if u know that U don't have the money to get there? If he had planned to steal the money to get there, then why spend the day doing the job that you are not going to be in town to do?

You’d think if you were stabbed that many times and fading towards the light, your handwriting would be very shaky and uneven. That last story really p*ssed me off! That was so obviously a setup! And it's disgusting that these police investigators framed this man, and took advantage of him being a poor, foreign, illiterate, community outsider! It was perfect because, whoever did this, knew all of this information about this man. They knew it would be super easy to frame him, due to these circumstances. It would have been a perfect plan for a movie! But this is real life, and these are real people. This isn't how real life actually works! Anyone can see that this is a setup! And it's so frustrating to watch what they did to this man!! The police and government that ran with this story and destroyed this man's life, should all be fired and replaced with people who have common sense and actually care about finding the TRUTH! Not just convicting someone because of public pressure, or because they don't want to do their job. And even when the truth comes out, they won't admit that they were wrong. Once they charge someone, they have to stay with their story, so they don't look stupid. It's sickening that they would still send someone to jail, KNOWING that they didn't actually do it!
This could happen to ANY one of us! You, me, your neighbor, ANYONE! We have to stand up for whats right, and get these people out of their position of power. We can't allow these sorts of people to continue to live in our communities, ruin lives, and pursue false convictions! It's sick! I really feel for the family but yeah I mean it does look like a big R is in there but what do I know? I'm not an expert. 😂 All I've heard is rumor and hearsay within the Macomb County government and police circles but they're probably super biased of course. I just wanna know what the evidence is that was inadmissible.

@@nickpasto2059I’m sorry I never responded 😭 still don’t have an answer :( I bring it up to my mom all the time because idk how they can just give it up. I literally think about it for days. She could have tried to spell out “Ronald” or she was trying to spell out a full name and their last name, Jabalee but who knows :/ I was only 5 years old when this happened yet I want them to solve this 😭 idk if back then they had a lot of dna stuff, but I wish they would have dug deeper into it and taken a lot of dna

Criminally Listed always cuts deep into my childhood terror and beyond, but Jason Voorhees aside, there will always be a frenzied psychopath who materializes from thin air to kill you in cold blood....and they might be family!

At 36:13 if you look at the writing in blood two things pop out to me. First it was written by someone who is left handed as the video says and my reasoning is this if you've ever finger painted or painted with a brush and made long strokes you'll notice that it goes from a area of high bright color (ie where you start) to an barely visible when the brush has run out of material to write with. You can see from the O that it was written going counter clockwise becoming less visible at the bottom and barely visible at the top using this you can see where the person started writing and ended with each stroke.
Second is given the width of the lettering, fingers are generally proportional to hand size, and hand size is generally proportional to one's physical size it stands to reason that it wasn't the woman who wrote omar on the wall. That and given how neatly it's written someone who's been stabbed bleeding scared and possibly in shock should not have that neat of hand writing.

Imagine breaking into somebody’s home, proceeding to kill the owner instead of merely fleeing, and then claiming it was self-defense. Wow...

i'm not so convinced it was the son... if the mom saw her son killing her husband running away is odd normally emotion would overcome first and total shock... its very sad but most parents who are killed by their son or daughter don't put up a fight and they don't try to kill in self defense either... if the son did this while sleep walking it wouldn't have been as neat as it was at the scene.. sleep walker murders are messy and rarely make any sense...they lack any rational thought... they were blugneoned, stabbed, and throats cut usually sleep walkers if they happen to have a knife on them they use whats there they don't use common sense and retreive different weapons... seems like a [personal overkill to me

Third case seems that someone else killed her and and was trying to frame the gardener

Case 1: I think someone framed him. Expert said it’s not her handwriting and why would he implicate himself? Case 2: odd there was no mention of DNA evidence. Sad that after being together for nearly 40 years they died together in such a horrific way. Was that a credible timeline - maybe the son’s wife lied?

here is just my thoughts based on my reading of the art of war by Sun Tzu
I think the Marchal case is a criminal masterpiece proceeded through highly intelligent methods
whoever schemed the murder scene must be very good at putting himself ahead of the investigative forces by leading the investigators into the unsolvable maze he constructed
in the art of war, it talks about how to manufacture a scene (basement door) initially shown to your opponents by making them believe what they think you should’ve done, while adding another scene (boil room) heading right next to, yet not quite simultaneously from the first scene. hence the second scene is meant to lead your opponents back to the first scene, and they will never get out of the loop if they keep looking into your “design”
    just my guess

The fact that the son hid the drugs instead of flushing them is absolutely not suspicious. He was a drug addict- obviously he was going to hide them in a place where he could come back and use them
