I just pictured like mostly skeletal remains except their torsos' pelvic areas that were still fleshy, but there were CLEARLY no signs of sexual assault. Why am I picturing 1950's Batman and Robin doing some rapid batcave figurin'. My mind is a 1950's episode of Batman. I can live with that.
That detective was honest enough to admit blame and he still wasnt punished for it, that other man’s wife deserved to know the truth.
Hmm interesting gets fired from his teaching internship for inappropriate behavior but then gets hired into law enforcement. Crazy.

Sleep deprivation is a terrible thing. People who overwork are not to be commended but should slow down. It can be quite dangerous to them and others
A family member of mine was so overworked, he had been in multiple (non-fatal) car accidents. I’m not sure HOW he had never hurt anyone else or himself. Thankfully he’s now at a job where he’s paid appropriately and not overworked. Sleep is so beyond important... 💤
I do understand what you are saying. But lots of people work overtime. As did I. There's no excuse to horrible crimes such as murder or kidnapping. People died.

I used to work nights and care for my child during the day. Long term and persistent sleep deprivation almost took my sanity. I started having fog states where I wouldn't be able to remember where I was, what I was doing or if it was day time or night time. I stopped being able to problem solve or cope with stressors. Ended up needing extensive time and help to bounce back and get right mentally.
I have watched your channel for yrs now. I always feel comforted by your great voice....like listening to an old friend.

I have a daughter and I couldn’t imagine what these families went through. Losing my daughter would be a fate worse than death. No parent should ever have to bury their child.
this is sadly so true. my best friend was murdered when he was seventeen, i was eighteen. his father never recovered. the father held a prominent position in a local hospital, but lost *everything* after his son, my friend, killed. the loss changed the course of many lives. my little brother, who was ten at the time, ended up becoming a psychologist who works exclusively with young people; within the juvenile justice system, as a court appointed advocate for children who’ve been removed from parents custody - to assess whether or not the home situation has been improved, and within his private practice.
It’s the worst thing any parent can experience! My daughter and only child died 28 years ago from a brain tumor. I tried to commit suicide 2 years later. Obviously that didn’t work. It has taken years for me to learn to live with it but my life was never the same.

Question Everything Some people (like me) use an iPhone, and it’s not possible to block ads through the app anymore. When I first commented above, there were 18 ads and a native RAID Shadow Legends ad too. So that’s 19 ads over 60 minutes, which is one every 3 minutes. That’s just insane.

@@shilonortham5216 Unfortunately it seem like the uniform professions tend to attract some peoole who aren't suitable. Even if they are relatively few of the total they can cause much damage. I'm thinking of the person who can't carry and honour the uniform but need the uniform to carry a disturbed ego. One would wish that there were some sort of tests that efficiently would weed out those.

First of all, I truly appreciate what you're doing here. Secondly, I love a 60-minute video but these stories get so convoluted and complicated that I forget which names to focus on after a bit. Perhaps throw up some maps and timelines occasionally so I can keep track. Also, take it a little easier with the ads, please.

Slight problem with the first story: it supposedly happened in 1887, 11 years before the Luger - the murder weapon - was first manufactured.

I agrre with this, Some sources on this case have described it as a "german pistol" most state it was a revolver, which for a policeman at the time would be accurate.

More of a problem is there isn't proof this man existed. (also the facts of the case makes no sense)
The detective Ledru "case" is from a fictional short story called "Detective Ledru Gets his Man", read by Marvin Elliott Miller in 1955 for the radio show "Surprise Theatre".

It depends when you watch, where you watch from, and whether or not you use premium or an adblocker. I commented within the first day and there 19 ads all up. So 1 every 3 minutes on average.

Thank you for this video. My mom used to work with Nancy Leichners bother Bob but it was a long time ago. When our family learned of this we were glad they had some closure to know who did it but sad that the girls bodies were never found for burial. Thanks for keeping their memory and story alive. I didn't know any of them personally but my parents always said Bob was really nice person. I think he has since moved out of the Pinellas County area but its difficult to remember as it was a long time ago.

Can someone explain what the bizarre twist was on the second story. Seems like the twist was that they had multiple suspects but never really found out the true killer? Is that the bizarre twist? That damn story was like 45 mins with no climax.......
Yes. A lot of killers linked to the two girls' murders and then one man confessed and was found guilty -- but he may not have even been guilty.

I played Raid: Shadow Legends for an entire week and I've never been so bored. It is a grind unless you pay. It's needlessly complicated. I got to the level I needed to get my Design Home diamonds reward and then uninstalled. No clue why they lie in the ads. It's soooooooooo uninteresting of a game.
On top of being a shitty mobile game, rAIDS is also Israeli spyware and their government helps fund the ads to get user mobile data from other countries' citizens.
