Hello, I read derma roll size 0.25mm is only enough to increase skin topical penetration but 0.5mm is needed for collagen production and substantial change in eye bags, dark circles, pores and smile lines that arent too deep or prominent.
Given the eye area and also the lips are thinner skinned areas, the 0.25 should be enough for those. All other areas the 0.5 is great to build collagen
Thank you so much ❤ It will be 5 in 1 for me for the eyes area and the my eyebrows hair & face lines and skin And lips 👄❣️ God answered my prayers I just asked Him to help me to find how to fix this problems 🙏 God is Good & I find you even I was not searching you are a beautiful blessing & generous person thank you for sharing What works and show us how to do it? Hi Anne, since I began derma rolling 6 months ago I've definitely noticed a difference with the crows feet. Now I find it actually feels good. Especially on the brows. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! 😊
@@HeatherDiesel Good Morning ☕ I use a 0.25mm I also use it 2-3 times a week. I personally wouldn't go any higher because the skin can be thin in that area. When I'm finished I use retinol serum.
Seriously! I just finished my dermarolling I was thinking I would love to do above my eyes! I can't wait to start this! I have started my neck also. Do you have a great product that helps lift the neck? Also I have had my eyebrows microbladed and they don't suggest dermarolling over them. I did the myotone 21 day challenge that they had (I have a video on that) but I haven't used it since. I do like red light therapy devices and microneedling is my favorite device. Lots of love xoox
Thank you, you’re such a great resource! Your skin is such a great testament. I started dermarolling a month ago - do you think it will help with my falling hooded lids?
Hi Anne. I've been a long time subscriber. Hoping you will answer. Like yourself, ive used the Dermo roller. Just wanted to ask do you still use the roller. I'm 50, like you with good skincare look younger. I've also moved forward to other methods, skincare. Rethinking on the roller. Just basically wanted to ask you if it's still part of your weekly etc routine. Thank you so much xx
Hi, yes I do still use a dermaroller (I did stop over the whole covid lockdown time of 2020 I just got lazy LOL) currently I've been using a microneedling pen (0.5 in my lines around the mouth and 0.25 around the eyes) will most likely do an updated microneedling video soon
They both are great. It's really beneficial to dermaroll then use the red light therapy right after. Hard to say with is more effective than the other when I use them both lol
I have tatooed Eyebrows it's almost 20 year's old... Can I use the Derma Roller over the tatooed Eyebrows... Please kindly Reply... Appreciate... 🙏❤️😇...
Hi. I enjoy your videos very much. Do you prefer a dermaroller or a dermastamp for under the eyes and the whole face for that matter? I always worry about making permanent tiny holes or minute tears in the dermis because of the rolling action of the dermaroller. Can it tear the skin?. Is that possible? Is a stamp action better? Thank you for your reply. I’ll purchase whatever gives best results in your opinion.
To get into specific lines around the mouth or forehead I like the narrow 3 line 0.5mm dermaroller I sell (link is in the description box) or a stamp, but for areas like the eyes or lips I like a regular roller (0.25). It does micro injuries to the skin so that the skin repairs itself and builds collagen in the process. Stamps and rollers are usually $20 or less and I replace mine every 6 months when used once a week (so pretty inexpensive overall) the results are the same between the roller and stamp, it's really personal preference but I do like the narrow roller or stamp for inside bigger lines and wrinkles. Hope this helps some! xoxo
Hi Annemarie, I love your derma rolling videos. I was wondering and maybe I just missed it. Do you dermarol before or after you apply your skin care products? Thank you Anne!
Thank you so much! You don't need to work up to a needle size, but around the eye area I like a 0.25 mm however you can use a 0.5 mm as well. I usually use a 0.25 on thinner skinned areas like around the eyes or lips. xoxo
Hi Anne-Marie, thanks for all the wonderful videos - please could you tell me how often you dermaroll under your eyes? Is once a week sufficient? thanks!
Anne thanks for always responding to people’s questions. That means a lot. I just received my dermal roller and used it but I also use retin A. Can you give me a suggestion in how to use these together and what to avoid. I don’t want to overdo it. Thanks in advance.
Thank you! If you are using a 0.5 mm once every week or two then you could just not use retin-a on the night you roll and see how you do with that. I have used retin-a (or another vitamin a product like retinaldehyde or retinol) after rolling and done fine (of course I could only use retin-a when mixed with beenigma to cut out irritation). What you want to avoid is irritation so if you are not getting irritated from your retin-a and if rolling doesn't irritate you then they should be together. If you are using a smaller 0.25 roller (which can be used nightly if you want) I would suggest just using it 1-3 nights a week and see how your skin is with your retin-a. Lots of love to you xoxo

Other people have said it’s best to soak your roller in alcohol first and let it completely dry before using. They have also said it’s best to have your skin extremely clean. I don’t know how important that is but it seems like it would be a factor so that you don’t get make up into the pores of your skin.
Yes, I only use a dermaroller on clean skin, that is very important. As I mentioned in the video since I wasn't dermarolling over my eyeballs I left my eyeliner and mascara on but removed makeup from the areas I would be rolling. You can disinfect your roller before or after using it. I always disinfect it after, but you could do either or both.
Have you ever had any problems with the tiny needles breaking off and getting lost on your skin? This happen to a friend of mine, it was a nightmare. Going to the dermatologist to have it dug out. They had to do an x-ray to find it....... makes me scared☹️
Your skin looks fantastic in the closeup, Anne! I may need to add the eye area in my derma rolling routine. Thank you for the demo, my beautiful friend. Happy Thanksgiving to you, and yours. Many blessings, and love..MaryEllen
I just found a video on gin amber rollers where you commented it is the only roller you will use now, can you please tell me if this is still the most preferred roller??? Your opinion is where I put my trust
Thank you so much! Real needle rollers are the only rollers I use but hers are not the only real needle rollers, there are others to chose from. I actually sell a real needle narrow 3 line 0.5 mm roller myself (for getting inside lines and wrinkles). Also the one like I am using in this video is real needles as well and I do have links to ones like the one I am using in this video in the description box under this video (click the "show more" or upside down triangle under the video). So I would recommend a real needle roller but there are several types that are at different prices (usually $20 or less) I have repurchased these gold ones like I'm using here many times over the years (I replace mine every 6 months when used once a week) and are always happy with them :) I hope this helps some! Lots of love to you! xoxo
@@BeautyByAnneMarie thank you for the response, anne-marie. i actually just read in the comments that you are a grandma. i'm blown away. you still look very young and beautiful. your techniques are working!
Thank you for the video. I was wondering if you ever tried using a smaller sized ( not smaller needle size but just the roller) to get closer to the inner corner of under eyes ? I saw another your video ( where you were demonstrating Tria laser results) and in those photos next to inner corner under eye is much crippier, and now I see that you are not using dermaroller on that area, so I think it's that's why. I have also crippines under inner corner, hence trying to find out what works there the best. I purchased Tria under eye laser and also really small in size dermaroller ( just couple of rows of 0.5mm needles), so I can get into that small under inner corner area, yet I've never dermarolled before, so was trying to find who is doing it and with what results
Anna loved the video. I have only one question. Can I derma roll every evening in the eye area or is it also 1 to 2 times a week? I don’t think that was answered fully in the video. You do look marvelous-so glad I came across your you tube videos.
I'm glad you found me too and thank you for watching! I only put in text in the video that I roll once a week around the eyes. Probably 1-3 times a week with a 0.25 is fine there too but since it's thinner skin I wouldn't overdo that area too much personally. Lots of love xoxo
Hi Anne, i am wondering, you used a link to the same orange derma roller you use in other video, but ofcorse there is so many brands, prices and options. Is this the best brand you recomend? Also there is many that are more or less around $12 and they come with 2 or 3 different sizes, do you recommend those? Thanks 💋😘 love your videos!!
Hi, the orange roller with white handle were ones I was selling but they sold out and I haven't yet reordered. The other rollers I like are these (they are around $13): United States: amzn.to/2FLNAXK United Kingdom: amzn.to/37Y68Ae Canada: amzn.to/36NFLgl Australia: amzn.to/35TiB72 I like to use a 0.25 around the eye area. Happy Thanksgiving MaryEllen! I hope you have a wonderful day! Love you, xoxo
Hello is it safe to use 0.30 mm on eye area. And how often
Lots of love to you! xoxo
U look amazing thank u for the video so is it safe to roller the eyes every fortnight
Thank you! Yes, every 2 weeks is safe
hello, anne-marie. i was wondering how often you derma roll your upper eye area with the .5 roller? thank you.
Only once every week or every 2 weeks
The other rollers I like are these (they are around $13):
United States: amzn.to/2FLNAXK
United Kingdom: amzn.to/37Y68Ae
Canada: amzn.to/36NFLgl
Australia: amzn.to/35TiB72
I like to use a 0.25 around the eye area. I hope this helps! xoxo
great videos, I am going to do my first derma rolling tonight on face and lips and undereye! Thankyou for your info and recommendations. I just turned 65 this week and the sagging has begun :(
Thank you! I hope you see some good results! It takes 3-6 months of a consistent routine but I find it really helps. Lots of love to you xoxo

Hello, thanks for this video and all your others! How often do you dermaroll your eyes? Best wishes
Thank you for watching! I try for once a week (sometimes it's once every 2 weeks) xoxo
@@BeautyByAnneMarie Thank you, Anne-Marie. Love from the UK xx
Can we see a before and after?
Thank you for the great demo Anne-Marie!!! xoxoxoxoxooxoxo Carol
Happy Thanksgiving Carol! Lots of love xoox
Your skin is just beautiful!
Great video, thank you so much. How many times a week do you use the roller on the eye area vs the entire face
Ideally I'd do both areas (eye and face) once a week. I do tend to get busy or forget and it's more like once every 2 or 3 weeks
@@BeautyByAnneMarie Thank you for your quick response! One more question do you do your neck and back of hands that often also?
@@BeautyByAnneMarie Thank you so much. Would you include the lip area also? I have been looking at your website to purchase my first roller. You have quite the selection :) is there one in particular I should start with? I am in my 60's
Hi there, do you think a .5 is too deep or can a person use it without having to buy a different roller?
No you can use a 0.5 if you want (sorry I only put that in text in the video and not verbal) xoxo
Not sure if I missed it in the video but how often can I microneedle my under eyes?
