HOW TO DERMAROLL! FULL FACE Anti-Aging Dermarolling Routine!

- Dermarolling also called microneedling stimulates new collagen and reduces deep wrinkles, lines, scars and stretch marks. It also helps to improve skin texture and can help with hair loss. I think that the dermaroller is one of the best at home anti-aging devices! I'll be going over the basics of dermarolling along with my full face anti-aging dermarolling routine and show how you can get rid of wrinkles without fillers or injections. I use a 0.25 mm roller 2 or 3 times a week for product absorption and then a 0.5 mm once every 2 or 3 weeks (at most I use it once a week) this size stimulates new collagen production within the skin and also helps with product absorption.

Your video has been so helpful. I've noticed a nice difference in the short term but also long term. My skin continues to benefit about four months after I started and I especially noticed enhanced lip plumping effect, enhanced suppleness to my facial skin and neck region. The lip plumping is not dramatic like you'd get with injections, but it is enough I notice and am very happy with the results. I'm about the same age as you. I've always moisturized - since I was 13 but I've fallen off a regimen time and again. A regimen is absolute key and never too late to start. I love your series and have learned so much. This is the second time I watched this video...I made a New Year's Resolution to start dermarollling...I have done it sporadically, but I need to get into a routine. Something amazing happened... I started with a dermaroller about 2 weeks ago because of your videos.
I had a huge funnel pore on my forehead for years, the cosmetician told me she couldn't do anything about it (a very large deep pore with a blackhead inside).
The day after my first dermarolling, a pus-filled pimple appeared right next to that pore, then this opened and dried out, during which the original blackhead pore moved further and further to the surface, there is no "hole" now anymore and I think I can get the blackhead out in a few days.

Thanks for the refresher course! I started derma rolling a few weeks ago! I even got the numbing cream, but do not need it. After a few times I was used to it. I have Rosacia and I've read that many dermatologists are using derma rolling/micro needling for it. I am also just began using an organic tea tree oil soap that helps along with my prescription RX. I don't have it bad, but with age it will only get worse.

Hi Anne-Marie. Thankyou , Thankyou , and Thankyou again. Am fine tuning my technique, and getting results that I can hardly believe are possible. Am rolling.every 3rd Friday. Have switched to a 0.5mm, and get a new roller after every 2 or 3 times it gets used (it gets blunt quicker than you think), and it has to be sharp. I get my face / forehead / neck very red after appx 15 mins of steadily increased pressure. Then for last couple minutes , take a deep breath (literally) and blitz the problem areas - under eyes, above eyes, above eyebrows, laugh lines etc. It isnt really really painful, but by now - quite a bit of blood in these areas. Then I really saturate the entire area with heavy coat of The Ordinary Retinoid 5 %. Once this soaks a bit (appx 10-15 mins) - then go back and hit the problem areas - again with a real heavy coat - of Nivea Q10 (This was very sore the first time I did it !). Next day - may be still bleeding in one or two spots - and under eyes very puffed up (hence best at the weekend). A few days later though - WOW ! Because of under eye hollows , the skin under the eye, and under the hollow,had started to become separate entities. However, this current process has actually got rid of all crepeiness (if thats a word) , reduced lines considerably, and is fusing and thickening all the skin back to how it used to be (10 + years ago), and in fact, the hollows are beginning to fill up. You are my go-to! So appreciate your experienced help as I move through my hesitancy to try this. I'm determined to start the New Year off with my first ever Derma-rolling. I want to implement my LED mask immediately after rolling with .25 and then 0.5 (once my skin toughens a bit from .25). I'm not sure of the order or how the mask fits in with the application of skin serums. Per your awesome video I use Green tea before the LED mask. After rolling I plan to apply hyaluronic acid-matrixial- Vitamin C (if doesn’t sting),-copper peptides, -Retin-A. If I do the LED mask first the channels may be closed before I apply the serums. Also I thought I should not have Retin-A on when using the mask. When is best to apply the skincare products, before or after, using the LED Mask? Thank you Lovely!

Hi Anne. Thought I would do a brief list of my current program, in case its helpful to anyone. I may never get to your level of self improvement - where I suspect that bartenders still ask you for your id... but I do really think that things starting to come together. This are the things I do ...in addition to all the excellent ideas you have produced in you series .....
1) Hand lazer device (tria). Claims to increase collagen (I do take powder collagen...although I dont know if it ever gets
absorbed into the skin...but it definitely helped with dark circles. In fact, my whole skin care interested started when the skin under my eyes was betting very thin - and felt sore when pressed again eye socket . The thinness of skin leads to discolouration, due to capilliaries becoming visible, as skin gradually becomes translucent.
2) Skin care products as recommended here - Vitamin C, Retinol, Hyl Acid etc, plus olive oil and coconut oil, Nivea cellulite cream
3) Dermarolling once weekly for around 20-30 mins , with special emphasis on nutrition on those days - beetroot, egg white,
avocado, spinach/kale/broccoli bender smoothies, and all red berry smoothies - to get blood cells in good shape.
4) Face and neck exercises - to keep muscles firm and skin tight - well at least try to !- see Tom Hagerty on RUclips.
5) Try to sleep more - most body cell repair is done during sleep time.
6). Lots of exercise. In particular - 'Burst Training' or 'HIIT' Cardio. Short bursts to exhaustion, gets the cells splitting and dividing. Splitting the atom was a big discovery, but I think that splitting the cell....will be even bigger.
7) Most of my efforts are low cost and self administered. One tablet I do take (along with quite a few vitamin supplements)
is called Niagen - also on RUclips / Also see Chromadex on the Nasdaq. Very clever scientists have developed a modified vitamin (B12, I think) tablet - as a result of dramatically reducing the apparent age of mice - but it is quite expensive. I like it because it gives me a burst of energy if I'm going to the gym but feel weak, and 3 tablets give me a really big boost. I do find that Niagen is best used once every few days instead of every day, as the effect is much less in this case. The main benefit
though, is acceleration of new cell production...the holy grail of anti-aging. All the best. xx.

Hi Anne, thank you for your informative derma rolling videos! I just got both the .25 and .5 Gin Amber rollers and love that you've provided some of your favorite products. My question is about cleansing prior to rolling. What are your favorite cleansing products? Just curious, and thanks again!
I just use a cleansing oil (palmer's brand) or any natural oil like coconut, olive, almond oil. I do also like ponds cold cream cleanser (I have normal to dry skin). Some people like to wipe their skin first with rubbing alcohol but I usually just cleanse my face/remove my makeup really well. Lots of love to you xoxo
Thanks for posting Anne-Marie. I'd been dermarolling for a while with a derma-roller with the metal wheels (yikes) which I feel made my wrinkles worse. Now I've got a 192 needle roller which has proper needles. People beware, please check those cheap rollers on Amazon or ebay. Make sure they have actual needles or you could be doing more harm than good.
Anne-Marie - I've been dermarolling my lips with the 'proper' roller now for a couple of months but it doesn't seem to be doing anything at all. I do it 3 times a week. I know you had good results with this over the years, but when did you notice it was doing anything? I'm at the point of giving up and thinking it just doesn't work for some people. I'm in my late 40's.
I apply a peptide lip product after rolling them (I listed a few favorites in the description box) and I would say they got a little bigger each year I have been rolling them. (I do have the progression pics in my video on bigger lips without fillers, makeup or suction devices). I'd say by the 2nd year they were noticeably bigger and even more so after 3 years of dermarolling them. It's a slow process but does make a difference ;)) Lots of love xoox
