A hearty thank you! I've had my Sportster S one month and definitely wanted to remove that massive stock rear stuff. I thought I would need to wait for some kind of after market product with a ton of modifications, then you came along with an excellent product and plus showed how easy it is to do... again thanks...
I ❤ the modifications that you’ve made to this Sportster S. 👏🏻 You make them all look so easy to do. I noticed also that your T-shirt has Tifton Georgia on the back; I used to live in Tifton when I worked at ABAC. It was a great little town to live in but now I’ve lived in Miami for 21 years. I am a new subscriber now. 👍🏻
Thanks for watching and subscribing! It's the wonderful world of editing that sometimes makes it look easy. The Sportster S was purchased from the Tifton dealership. At the time, we were having difficulty finding one readily available for purchase. The closest ones were located in Tifton and near Crystal River, FL. Thoroughly enjoyed the ride and experience to Tifton.
great video set for sure...like the tail light for sure way cleaner looking than that awful looking arm thing. cant wait to see what the luggage rack looks like..
A very well crafted video! and the product certainly looks far better than the stock assembly. And lastly, I hope your not going to hold me to this quality of video production...lol
Requesting a video that just focuses on Chad's attitude, style and attention to detail. It will either be the shortest or longest video you ever make. Jk....great vid!
I like the light.. not a fan of the license plate holder that close to the rear tire. I’ll prob go with a different license plate holder for mine but will get the light for sure 🙌🏍️
It does get close. Chad appreciates the symmetry, with it being in the middle instead off to the side. He's been thinking about a different suspension system that may result in an additional inch of clearance. We'll see.
@@advistics It looks great, but I definitely wouldn’t feel 100% comfortable knowing that I’m a pothole away from ripping off the rear end of my bike haha. Has Chad had any issues with it since? Great video by the way 👍🏻
I am debating whether to get this one or the one on the side, does it solve the mud slashing problem? Also isn't it illegal to have it on the side without a light? Did anyone run into issues with cops?
Would you be able to confirm that this plug for the light is the same on the 2023? Obviously there is one feedback comment on Amazon that says its different. Great video BTW!
Another great video love seeing the progress on this build , just a question I may have missed it but does that light set up have a white light on it to light up the license plate ??
@@advisticsI am guessing that white light would be a requirement in some jurisdictions. Do you find the rest of the lighting sufficient for safe daytime use? A competitor product seems to be lacking in that regard, but does offer white lighting. Searching for best option. Great video!
Showing up as unavailable now. Dang! This is just what I wanted. I did find a similar one from them but with the license plate holder on the side. I wonder if it's the same light assembly...
It does occasionally rub. There is little clearance, so when the road gets a bit bumpy it touches. Normal roads not as much. Hasn’t really caused much of an issue at this point.
Not for this project. We did get some errors codes after the air filter and mid-control installation. The local HD shop got it straightened out. Nothing serious.

Got mine a few days ago now I've seen how easy it is to install I know I can do it myself
Love it. I have the S in stone washed white pearl. Really wish I could find one in orange as it's my favorite color. Maybe someday.
The white one is a great one too! Could always consider a custom paint job. Make it uniquely yours?!?!
Looks like it will help keep the mud off your back too!

@@advistics Thanks for your reply! I look forward to follow-up videos of your Sportster S!
Did yours throw a code following installation cause I got the B216115C right after? Is there a way to get rid of the code??
I just installed mine and it’s throwing the code 😢
Great video! Thanks for sharing🥰
Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to test this product. Glad you liked the video!

Glad you enjoyed the video! The new luggage rack video just got published today.
Ive been looking at this kit, I found a way to solve the possible rubbing issue, just bend the frame up a half inch on a table vise and you’re done!
Looks better than the TBR set-up

Certainly makes the bike look cleaner. I'm sure our Moto Guzzi series will be great.

@@advistics Does it ever hit the tire on a bump?
@@mikepariseau5157, it has not hit yet & I've had it down some horrible roads.

very well,Great video!
Thank you! Cheers!
I would love this bike but the tank is so small can you get a bigger tank for it ???
its not touching rear wheel on bumps?

The price is cheap and it's cool
Good quality too!

There in no dedicated white light, but the tail light is shining on the plate.

I do think it's the same light, without the license plate extension and frame. But I'm not 100% sure.
Hi! I heard that the frame rubs? how true and how bad is it? thanks!

Any issues after the install codes, errors, or engine lights?
Not for this project. We did get some errors codes after the air filter and mid-control installation. The local HD shop got it straightened out. Nothing serious.
Is there rubbing on the tire when the suspension bottom out?
It's very close, but we haven't noticed any wear on the tag frame yet.
Hey bossman. What type of exhaust is that?
DR. JEKILL & MR. HYDE
Don't forget to use Loctite
Agreed.
All time the tire will friction the license plate. Worst adaptation ever.
