Which is ironic because i wrote a list on word with everything i need to cover, including the gnome. And in the final edit i forgot about it. :( I'll pin this instead then!
Dude's builds are amazing. I plan to build the base from his previous video. Arena's great too, but I like fighting underwater too much. Makes boss fights really easy once you get a tortoise/lava shark mount.
I was thinking about to add a little alternative with a water arena. But decided to cover it seperated. You are right on this, underwater arena's with flipper potion etc can be very broken. :D
@@wardosbox oh you would really make a video about Water arenas? That would be fire! and since it's you, it would definitely have some amazing additions. Will it be the next video or later?
I like to put my water candle/peace candles on one lever. Place one of the candles, right click it to turn it off, place the other candle, wire them up. When you flip the switch it turns one off and the other on, and vice versa. Don't forget to build a small respawn room under your arena for those times you bite off more than you can chew.
There is a player proximity logic block, move the sensing area to when you want the NPC to be teleported, they tele in and once you leave the proximity, it sends another single to send them back. I use it for automatic doors all the time
6:46 it doesn't do x1.75 damage, it simply deals 4 damage to enemies. x1.75 is just the damage increase for the aura in master mode (4*1.75=7, where 4 is the damage in normal mode and 7 in the master mode)
if you make the arena a width of any power of 2 minus 1 (1, 3, 7, 15, 31, 63, 127, 255, 511, etc) you will be able to subdivide your arena and center or space out everything in a really satisfying way (as long as your things are an odd number of tiles wide. even numbers would look better when using a power of 2 directly.)
Don't forget about gnome

What is this gnome you speak of
This would be a major nitpick. The benefit from higher luck during combat is very minor
I thought this was going to be a typical generic arena guide but this guy ended up going into full on German efficiency levels.
My arena for destroyer: long minecart track
The fight becomes a world-wide race😂

When you have almost 4k hours in the game and still look at guides.. sigh. Great work Ward!

4:44 - White torches are also the brightest torches in the game! Even brighter than the Ultrabright torches.

yea that's the same issue as with the pressure plate, that projectiles or mobs/bosses knock you out of the sensor area.
Lol now ik how to build an arena properly instead of just some wooden platforms on top of each other, very good video
Great design thanks so much 😅
underrated as hell man
I was just waiting for this!
Thank you for this tutorial!

WardosBox, FIRE VIDEO!
Amazing

Can u try building the perfect fishing farm?

I get your point of using odd numbered tiles, but what's the significance of using a power of 2?
@@GertySam it just looks nice
this is super cool, how would you go about adding flame thrower traps, darts or lava to it for the smaller mobs?
Pretty sure invasion spawn rates can't be altered, great guide though
I love it, but how to upgrade like adding more rooms, more space?
Just add it on top or below
Dont break my heart by telling me that hat in the thumbnail is a modded item
It's a texture replacer i made by myself for vanilla.
