Hi great boat, love the original paint and grease on the engine, how did you find this boat and what condition was it in ? , Thanks for posting the video
Hay Jonathan, She was renovated by a relative in 1994. He found her laying upside down in a forest slowly fading away. He renovated the hull and put in a "new" engine from 1954. We got it from him 2009.
John Edgardh no water skiing either, lol. Really can't expect her to figure skate with a single low rev inboard. I figured her between 3 and 4 tons, quite an ideal lake boat!
I would rather have that over a new boat. Was going to ask if it had a clutch with forward / reverse, but I see the lever in this video now. Comments below verify now too. Only thing I can not understand is how the hull has lasted so long? Is that salt water she lives in? I hope you keep her going forever.
Hay sorry for the late reply. I have been busy renovating the boat next to nothing, shes a 2stroke diesel so she can run on prity mutch anything from lighter fluid to used vegetable oils. I sadly don't have an exact measurement for you. But next to nothing
It would be interesting to put a tachometer on the engine and see how low of a RPM its running at Its good to see the boat running on a nice day. (^_^)
How many horsepower is the hot bulb. I would love to see video of the entire boat. What is the size of your boat? Length, Beam, in ft. I really like your boat because it is made of steel and rivets. At some point in time I will be making a small bow out of steel on a RUclips channel.
Sounds very Happy 😀😀😀
Excellent! More fun than something new and shiny (and expensive). But most people won't understand!!
And people wonder why the Nordic Region is so nice. I can listen to this thing all day/night/day/night
Something rather therapeutic about listening to one of these engines just chugging along.
1 year later and I have it looped on my playback. Great sleeping music...:)
Love those smoke-rings.
Thank you for the measurements and the horse power. And again that is a beautiful boat
Nice old style " pop, pop" sound low rpm. 👍
Very nice boat and engine
I just subscribed and will be looking forward to new videos of your boat.
Tu tu tu tu tu tu....wonderful

how long does it take to warm up before ignition?
Aound 3 minuts whit an old petrol burner
posted on my last birthday! thanks for the present, lol. what kind of speed does she make? 10 km/hr?
She tugs along at 6knop, about 12km/hr
John Edgardh wow, she must have a very efficient hull shape and prop! That's actually very impressive considering her hp
Yes I agree, also she weighs ober 3tons. She's "fast" but not nimble

what kind and brand of engine it is? thanks
persiuntimu emeilas she is a seffle s15 bfv

BiddieTube she used to ship timber way up north in Sweden. Takes some love to keep her alive but it's all worth it in the end :) she will never die!
What about fuel consumption? How far can she go on her fuel tank? How many liters per hour?
Hay sorry for the late reply. I have been busy renovating the boat next to nothing, shes a 2stroke diesel so she can run on prity mutch anything from lighter fluid to used vegetable oils. I sadly don't have an exact measurement for you. But next to nothing
I want an engine like this, it's so cool.
Красота!
The only thing missing in this picture is a big long haired dog.
I would imagine she's very fuel efficient ! What is the approximate HP of the engine ?
+Mark Osborne she is about 10hp it's a seffle s15bfv
+Mark Osborne and she barely drink anything :)
A reversing gear box with neutral ? and do you burn regular diesel fuel from the pump ?
+Mark Osborne I'll try to make a video explaining everything some day
+Mark Osborne and yes she gotforward neutral and reverse
beautifulll...
Yes isn't she wonderful!
It would be interesting to put a tachometer on the engine and see how low of a RPM its running at
Its good to see the boat running on a nice day. (^_^)
Kitty Cat she can run at around 60rpm and go up to 750 or so :)
WoW, that is low RPM, the heavy flywheel sure keeps it running
Its nice to see the old engines still running
Thanks for sharing your videos ! ! !
Real cool 👍🏼
Du har en ny prenumerant! Fin båt! Finns inget bättre än ljudet av en gammal tändkulemotor, DET är musik :)

Hay she has 10bhp at 750 rpm and i won't tell you in feet scene it's a dumb measurement ;). 6,5x2,1m. im looking forward to it.
Man wheres the steering gear at? Lol just see a chair and a engine
She got a small tiller next to the chair :)
I envy this man
