Great tip! Herb brush. Just be sure to use a high smoke point oil like avocado. Save your precious olive oil for finishing and salads. Thanks Jaime!

Is Vinegar spray that he mentions OK for an all gas bbq??
jamie you have such a likeability factor.
😚

how would i go about drying the flavoured salt? just let it sit on a tray on my kitchen counter or actually put it in my oven at a lower temperature (like when drying tomatoes for example)
great! thanks for the answer!
Great answer TattooedDancer!
1# tip go KC
Tip: oil the food not the grate, instead of leaving oil on the grate to cook and getting char or dripping and messing stuff.
Put oil then some salt and pepper in the food
👍👍👍
Im sure ive seen jamie on a roof top in the rain saying "DON'T put oil on vegetables". Then in this video he's using a herb brush to oil vegetables lol
How cold was it when filming? you see the water vapor come from your mouth :x
We were filming in England - it's always cold, even in summer!
RIDICULOUS!!! HEY REDCOAT!! “US HILLBILLIES HERE IN WESTERN PA MAKE YER GRILLN LOOK LIKE MICROWAVED LUCKY CHARMS IN WATER”, ONE TASTE OF MY GRILLED STUFFED PORK CHOPS WOULD MAKE YOU GIVE UP THAT “ FRY COOK” EDUCATION YOU HAVE AND GET A JOB IN A HOTDOG FACTORY!!PFHHHHHH🍺🥩🥓🍗🍤

Jamie loves a cookout and actually has more outdoor cookers and grills than I.
Tip #2 Barbecuing is not Grilling Jamie!
first
bbq tip #1, dont use gas grills
Why?
Wood and charcoal means flavour
Doge Friend You are absolutely right
Facts. I see him behind a gas grill. Immediately ignores any advice he has on BBQ'ing
Taste the meat not the heat. -Hank Hill
I cook with both, but gas is really convenient when you are pressed for time and much better than a grill pan.
WHERE'S GENNARO?!?!
He's getting in mischief somewhere - don't worry, he'll be back soon!
Gas BBQ don't count in my books. Only charcoal is the test for a true master of the BBQ.
eightgeorge Charcoal?!? In my day we started with wood... and we gathered it ourselves, not a bought bundle of barbecue/firewood from a store.
Real men hunt the animal and eat the meat raw.
looks like the same video like last year, congrats
Hi Jamie. I know this is not related to your latest video, but please can you explain why you celeb chefs always seem to be using non stick skillets for cooking at high temperature. Why are you not using and explaining the benefits of pans like carbon steel and stainless steel, correctly seasoned for high temperatures. We all know that non stick pans are so limited in what we can use them for. Not high temperature cooking. I am confused as you are supposed to be our best chefs. Please help me with this, is it a political thing ?
Cookout tips not BBQ tips, but nice anyway
You r fast Jamie slow down
Many thanks, I've been looking for "first barbecue" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Ariafan Barbecue Babassu - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my brother in law got cool success with it.

First?
You ARE first!
gas cooker in your garden is not bbq.
can i say i feel we see less gang of frienfly foodtube friends cooks and more tv show or buy my gear video's ? is it monetization time ? it ususally ruins everything when overdoing it ;)
All for meat eaters
😔
instructions unclear, put griller on meat instead
Flip it and reverse it, and you're on the right track!
oh come on now, if you're cooking outside you better be using coal/wood
