Put oil then some salt and pepper in the food

I cook with both, but gas is really convenient when you are pressed for time and much better than a grill pan.

Hi Jamie. I know this is not related to your latest video, but please can you explain why you celeb chefs always seem to be using non stick skillets for cooking at high temperature. Why are you not using and explaining the benefits of pans like carbon steel and stainless steel, correctly seasoned for high temperatures. We all know that non stick pans are so limited in what we can use them for. Not high temperature cooking. I am confused as you are supposed to be our best chefs. Please help me with this, is it a political thing ?
