India is a Union of States. It means that there is one Union Government and several State Govermments, It also means that Union (Centre) is more powerful than States. At present there are 29 States in the Indian Union and each one of them has a Legislature.

Sir what is the difference between bicameral legislature and unicameral legislature
bhai bahut sahi bataya, ye request hai ki ratio ko example mai b deke bata do like, how many members in vidhan sabha and vidhan parishad and what is 1/3 and what is 1/12 etc. is se thoda aur samajh mai aa jayega ki ration kya hai, Is puri video mai hum seekha rahe abut vidhan sabha & vidhan parishad but after seeing the video, hume ye ni pata k how many members in vidhan sabha and vidhan parishad, baki sab bahu achha pata hai whatever you teach. bhai sorry agar kuch galat likha ho. you are good teacher but bus ek common people ko samajh mai aajaye aise bata do unko 1/3, 5/6, 1/12, ni samajh aayega, aa bhi jayega but agar aap count de doge to vo thoda zor laga sakte hai samjhne mai.

sir i have a small doubt..
is State legistative assembly(SLA)is also known as member of legislative assembly(MLA)..nd SLC is also known as MLC..i mean these are similar things or diifrnt? plz clear
These nomenclature are different but have a formar - latter relationship. You can say that these terms are related. SLA is a body while MLA is a person concern (elected or nominated) to the body . The same thing also applies to the SLC i.e SLC is a body while MLC is the person concern (elected or nominated) to the body. You can understand the concept by imagining a house you have taken on rent . The house is the SLA or SLC while you are a MLA or MLC in that house for time being (max 5 years for MLA and max 6 years for MLC) . Hope you will understand.

Sir I have a doubt regarding requirements for Vidhan Parishad . As you have told that minimum number of member is 40.Now, my doubt is whether the member is an MLA or an MP ?
The relation of vidhan sabha and vidhan Parishad is only and only with the MLA's and never can have a MP.
vidhan = MLA
VIDHAN SABHA MEMBERS ARE CALLED MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT (MP).
VIDHAN PARISHAD MEMBERS ARE CALLED Members of the Legislative Councils (MLCs).
