Or jaha only legislative assembly hai on ke members ko kyaa boltey English mai???

I'm always excited For your lecture Sirrrrrrrrr.
Describe structure of State Legislature.
A: State Legislature constitue bicameral system in 7 states while unicameral in rest of the the states. Article 168 to 212 in Part VI deals with state legislature in our constitution. Unicameral system is having state assembly in state whiles bicameral system is having both state assembly and council at states. There is 7 States having bicameral system which are Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Jammu and Kashmir. Council is not representative of people, delay in legislative process and expensive institution. It can be created or abolished as per the wishing and strength of state. But for it state has to pass resolution to the parliament by 2/3 Rd majority of present voting of the members of assembly or special majority. Creation or abolish of council does not come under amendment article 368. Final power to create or abolish council is vested with parliament. There are some state like Andhra Pradesh got it's council on 1957 but abolished it on 1985 and again got on 2007 as per the Andhra Pradesh Council Act, 2005. Like wise Tamil Nadu abolished in 1986 and that of Punjab and West Bengal in 1969.

I am from Kashmir _as per section 50 0f the state constitution the jandk legislative council is currently composed of 36 seats .however,legislative assembly has 87 seats..........

There are 289 members in Legislative Assembly...288 are directly elected and + one is nominated....
And 78 members in Legislative council...31 is indirectly elected...21 are directly elected by State legislators...7 from graduates constituency....7 from teachers constituency....12 are eminent peoples/nominated by Governor....
