The response that Simon gives when he is called by the wrong name say how awesome of a person he is. He adds humor to the situation in such a relaxing way. The man is so calm and together about his life. I have nothing less than immense respect for this man.
I only now, in 2024 discovered The Mentalist and Baker's other movies. Late to the party as always! But what a wonderful journey, that is. Found inspiration through Mentalist and Simon's other works to start writing my first screenplay! I hope Limbo will arrive in my country's cinemas - in Denmark. Btw. Thanks for inspiration, Simon! And thanks to Tasmania to give us Simon Baker as well as our country's new Queen! ;) It seems as great things comes from Tasmania ;)
@@aninaholbek Me...last year! Been watching his series The Mentalist on and off. He also starred in Boy Swallows Universe on Netflix. Pretty dark but funny at the same time (especially in his scenes).
Looks like a great film. Admirable how politically aware Simon is and how he advocates for the indigenous people of his home country and others- it would be great if more artists would do so and help shine a light on this very troubling subject 👏
Notice the body language of The presenter in the middle. He is resting his head in his hand,which means he is bored and doesn't really care about what Simon is saying! He wasn't paying attention,which is totally unprofessional from someone who works on a morning tv show. No wonder why he calls Simon 'Travis'! The only positive side to this interview are Simon's responses. They are so eloquent and deep, as usual.
What would Patrick Jane say ... 😂 Perhaps he is not taking him seriously, perhaps he doesn't agree with him (regarding justice system, indigenous people), perhaps he is just jealous? I think they hsould have let him talk about the subject matter.. and not waste time with this tool's superficial question, but hey...
