- The Amusing Hobby ARL 44 in 1/35 scale. It's a big French boi with a stowage box full of escargot. And as the manufacturer's name might suggest. It was amusing to put together. Even the photo etch wasn't so bad! The individual track links are probably the easiest I've ever worked with. Good times!
I will definitely be adding more Amusing Hobby kits to my stash in the future!

Good job, but I think you put the muzzle brake on backwards.
Indeed. good thing super glue is weak and it can easily be pulled off and replaced the correct way.
The completed kit looks really nice.
Also:
Ha-Ha! Now that the video is released doing the research is something for Past-Herbert to worry about! 🙃
Is it just me or is that weird exposed tread on the front of the tank an inspiration for some WH40K tank designs?
That exhaust system looks like something a hot rod enthusiast would design. I wonder how it got military approval. One good grenade hit or near miss by a shrapnel shell would shred it.
French tanks are weird, and that’s why I love watching you build them.
It might be an inspiration for 40k. There's a lot of real world things you can tell they've drawn inspiration from.
I guess the main reason for the exhaust being the way it is is to save space inside teh hull... It seems like it'd be really easy to destroy. Maybe they determined it wasn't that big a deal. Surely the engine would still run with the exhaust damaged. Maybe a bit louder though.
That’s actually a really nice kit. May have to add it to the stash
It looks as if it uses the same type of tracks as the B1 Bis
it does despite being 30 years younger
Doubt the tracks will survive the weathering process
Hate to tell you this Herbert, but you put the muzzle break on backwards...😢
try getting and building amusing hobby's Waffentragger Auf E-100 ;-)
Herbert...
Did you receive the parcel I send?
The parcel service states it is delivered.
But the data is contradictional.
I did recieve it a while ago, I also got the Land Rover kit and have been working on it on my Wednesday evening streams

Cool. Then I can tell my postal account that it is good.
Can I see the build somewhere? Or is it once and then it is too bad 😁🤪
If you have some points to consider, let me know. The parcel was about a month on its way, so, I hope it all came as intended?
