As sorry as I feel for the suffering, it's great to see a non-profit-driven healthcare system deliver world-class care. It CAN be done.❤

Yes, what a beautiful, caring girl. It’s unusual for one to be so selfless at such a young age. Her grandfather must’ve been so proud of the person she’d become.

That’s what I loved about both versions of 24 hours in A&E, taking place in both Kings College and St. George’s, as well as air ambulance ER and inside the ambulance, they’re REAL, Real people who are really injured or really sick, we even see some of them die, because sometimes, you can’t save them all.

And the first thing is whether you have insurance or can pay. Nobody's records are all in one place so doctors can see the whole picture. Everybody waits and waits. Followup with regular care is haphazard. We pay twice as much in the US but have no better results.

Not being rude, just talking about the trauma they see everyday becomes normal, and you forget it's really not. Plus a bit of healthcare gallows humour. He is clearly a great educator making sure nurses and drs get these experiences and learn
