Full playthrough of the already included Example World game in Mario Builder, basically an Example of how a Mario game could have looked like in that sense. Now, of course, it's not something we have to fully follow but it can help to inspire designing in Mario Builder or even other places too.

Is there any way to add levels in the sandbox to the world map?

Sometimes i cant understand Hello Mario Engine gameplay rules, for example in Mario Editor leaf is too powerful, you can even kill thwomps by smashing them with tail, but here rules seems original to Mario games, you can't smash thwomps with leaf and tanooki power up

how do you add in custom music and graphics?

There is a folder besides MarioBuilderV11-4 execution file called "Upload_Files", there you can add in custom graphics and music files to your liking.
