Thank you. It was pretty nasty but thankfully dirt was the only thing I had to worry about. I was surprised to find that the memory is ROM. I haven't come across that before.
Nice work!! I think this kind of videos are great to show how you can give new life to Casio watches, it would be great to show the before and after comparison at the end of the video, you got a new subscriber, looking forward for more videos
Thanks for subscribing. I don't tend to make videos of refurbishments because they are technically challenging without the right gear. But I may add images of the watches to show how they arrived to me.
I like your channel, I'm also a fan of classic Casios, especially databanks. That ultrasonic cleaner looks really useful. I was thinking about getting one, it would be great for cleaning smaller bicycle parts too. One question: did you do anything with the rubber gasket, clean it or grease it?
Hi there, I just bought a Casio SA-410 and was wondering if you could give me some pointers when it comes to removing scratches from brushed stainless steel as you did on the back of this watch. Could you please name the specific materials I need? Best regards.
I start off with 800 grit sandpaper to remove the deep scratches. I then move on to 1500 grit sandpaper to get the rest of the scratches out. I then go to 2000 grit to polish it up. Finally I use a scotchbrite pad to get the brush effect.
Hi, great video first of all. Followed by a question if I may. Would you mind telling me where I can buy the pusher retaining ‘C’ clips please. I have fallen foul to one pinging away. Thanks in advance if you can help.
@@digitalcasio2704 Yes, I tried to replace the battery. i didn't see tiny spring has came out, so did the beep and alarm stop working on my db310 if i didn't find the tiny spring ? or there is any other way to fix it ?

Love, care and attention to detail. Really satisfying to watch.
I love the new direction this channel is getting into. Great find and restoration work.
Thank you my friend. I have ideas for other videos so stay tuned.
@@digitalcasio2704 would love to see a restoration to new video.
I'll add that to my to-do list. Thanks.

Wow, nice job on the cleanup! It's like night and day. I didn't know those models had such strong illumination. Good work man!

A lovely video and a great restoration.

I gave the gasket a gentle clean with water. I have yet to find the best way to clean the gaskets while maintaining their shape.
Hi superb video! What is the name of the alcohol you used for cleaning? I'm very hard of hearing.. Thank you.
Isopropyl alcohol.

Ebay. Search pusher c clips. Get a variety of around 100 for about 10 dollars.
Wonderful, thank you!

My db310 beep and alarm suddenly not working, can you give me a tutorial to fix it ?
There is a tiny spring that has come out. Did you take the back off recently?

I will make a video to show how to fix this, it's a popular request. Give me a few days okay?

@@Aydanoworld Video is now live. I hope it works out for you.
Vc e muito bom vc vendi ele ?
No. It is now part of my Data Bank collection.
When was this watch released and upto how many years of calender it offers.
My research found it was released in 2005, though this might not be correct. The calendar range is from 1995 to 2039.
Could you show same process on plastic/resin watches? please
Actually I'm not fan of metal data banks, but more interested in plastic ones.
Thanks.
It is made of plastic. What are you on about?
@@traviswalker8933 I mean resin black one, not shiny plastic body like this.
@@AriaAzari it's the same process for those as well.
@@traviswalker8933 even ultrasonic washing?
@@AriaAzari you won't find a data bank with a filthy strap. It's hard to find vintage resin watches with original straps. Only NOS ones have those.
