Henry from The Book of Henry. While the film does portray Henry as smart. But the film, feel likes Henry is way too smart for his own good. Making the child protagonist this smart, takes away the humanity and feelings he once had. Now he's thinks he's better everyone else around him. This trope needs to be toned down or else, gone entirely. To these characters feel human and relatable.

In a time riots that occurred in the past. Children feel frightened when riots occur. Parents decide to protect the children. And help out the sensitive folks in society. I feel scared and frightened when youth movements are rebelling for feeling like minorities. I believe the youths do need help with issues, but I don't find the young people like me, as minorities. While I have flaws like can't handle much pressure. I am no minority. They aren't minorities in my point of view. I don't believe this minority stuff. Since not all youths are minorities.

Yeah same. I don't think in my humble opinion that Gray or even Zach was annoying. Maybe a little bit too stereotypical in some aspects, for the most part they just seem like regular kids and kids with a good brave heart. I actually pretty much liked almost all the scenes they were in. Jurassic park usually does a great job with its adults as well as their child actors. I can't imagine a Jurassic park movie without kids somehow involved.

I say. We support the children, teens, and young adults alike. Teaching them good manners. Not indoctrinate them to blind socialism or the occurrence of the 2016 youth riot movements. Especially in China on 2019. I know it happened, but it didn't resonate with me at all. That's is something I would like to forget. Like the young people trying reclaim the power from the older generation would do more bad and harm. Than being considered good and justified. Reclaiming power will not do them any favors. I am glad these events were never heard from again. It was definitely the right thing. Forget these incidents, and future generations don't even want to acknowledge it.

I got to appreciate how Veruca was a different level of annoying in the 2 Chocolate Factory movies. In the 1971 film, she was always aggressive and demanding, while in the 2005 version, she acts more subtle and elegant, sounding soft when she wants something, and only raises her voice when refused.

He was annoying that we got annoyed but at the same time, he was so loving and courageous that we cant helpt but rooting for him. I love him as much as i was annoyed by him. Which in turn places me in the mother's headspace, so I get it... But getting it didn't mean I didn't hate it.

@@JamesDavy2009 While that is true, It would depend on exactly how far away the restraining order would require Dennis to stay away, Because it is possible for neighbors to put restraining orders on each other and still live in the same neighborhood, Because the mandatory distances for an RO is either 100 yards or 300 feet.
So if Mr. Wilson ever put a RO on Dennis, Since they live in the same neighborhood he would probably be required to stay at least 300 feet away from Mr. Wilson.

The only bad thing for 'Krampus' is that Max was punished, too. And the worst part is that he was punished because he lost his Christmas spirit - which was only due to the way his awful family treated him. So basically Krampus was punishing Max for being a victim.
Silver lining, though: there's apparently a prequel that reveals that Max and his family were actually given a second chance instead of being trapped in a purgatory-like situation forever. So hopefully everyone will try to be better to each other in the future.

    • @marieangels6

@@marieangels6 To clarify: the prequel does take place before the movie's events, but the prequel reveals that the snow globes in the workshop are meant to view people Krampus has spared so he can make sure that they don't lose their Christmas spirit again. Since Max and his family are viewed through a snow globe at the end of the movie, that means Krampus has spared them, and will continue to watch them.

When the entire crux of the story centers on your character being the single reason that Klaatu finds as the reason to not destroy the entire planet, that character BETTER make the audience see the same thing. Instead, Smith’s character makes us all see things from Klaatu’s original idea that the Earth is doomed and heading towards destruction. If Smith’s character was the only hope the world had for being saved, we’d all have to admit the Earth was screwed.

Honestly I would've put Dudley Dursley on this list instead of Draco because he was a physical bully, always beating Harry up, as well as a loud mouth brat whereas Draco just ran his mouth most of the time and had Crabbe and Goyle as his muscle to guard him (I know in the 5th book he and Harry did get into a brawl). Draco was always one of my favorite characters, he never annoyed me as much as Dudley except when he called Hermione a mudblood. I still cringe during the first film when Dudley throws a fit over only getting 36 birthday presents and his parents are nervous wrecks trying to please him. Something tells me if Draco tried the same Lucius wouldn't cower like Vernon and Petunia.
Draco was brought up under strict circumstances, to be the perfect Pureblood heir and son. Spoiled as he was it didn't come without consequences. He essentially was spoon-fed every thought he ever had as a child, never free to make up his own mind. At least not until he got older and saw what was really going on. He was never babied, he had to put on an act and present himself as the elite of the Wizarding World. Yes, Lucius came to his rescue a lot and bought his way onto the Quidditch team but he was hardly the type of parent to coddle him and give in to his demands.
Dudley on the other hand? His parents didn't seem to have any expectations of him and just let him run wild, coddling him constantly.
Actually I always kinda wanted to see an interaction between Dudley and Draco, I wonder what their perceptions of each other would be. At least both of them have redemption moments. Just my opinion. Sorry this is so long btw! Love the video!

Edmund acted much the same way Eustace did in "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." I also thought Lex Murphy from the first "Jurassic Park" movie should have been on the list. She accidentally endangered herself and her younger brother Tim when she turned on the flashlight that attracted the T-Rex, and even after Tim told her to turn off the light, she kept it on. She has shown other annoying traits in the movie as well. She is even more annoying in the book, and in the book, she acts more bratty, and I think it's great that the movie did not include her real bratty traits cause that would have been super annoying to see in the movie.

"Ok, so we need to be really quiet to sneak past the Very Bad Thing that Murders People"
Shitkid: "But what about my neurotic tic that must be put on sleep mode by performing a loud, obnoxious, plot-diverting, plan delaying, attention-grabbing ritual? If we don't do it, I have to start screaming!"
Sensible man: "We should leave that child behind: they're clearly not equipped to deal with the situation, and will get others killed."
Idiot parental figure: "Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, we have to protect innocent naivete at all cost, even though horrible things have happened that pretty much destroy all notions of naivete and innocence, and the situation is a clear allegory (or at least cause for) for growing up and changing and adapting: we have to save this token child to preserve that old perspective that we cannot and should not ever go back to! I don't care how many otherwise good and capable people die for it!"
Karma, to sensible man: "How DARE you! You now die in a situation you wouldn't even _be_ in if the kid wasn't there. That'll show you."
Writers: If other people are already dead, and moving forward requires emotional growth, and the whole personality and point of the kid is "escort mission": dont. Let the kid die.
