Amber’s case relied solely on her testimony being believed. She had nothing else. Her photos were obviously doctored; she didn’t hand over her devices for forensic analysis; her sister’s account didn’t correspond with hers; her witnesses all said they had never seen JD hit her despite her accounts of him being a monster when impaired; and all the audio tapes showed her being aggressive and demanding and JD being averse to conflict.

The last one was both cringe-worthy and laughable. She couldn't stick to her testimony, telling the defense to move on with the question which is the judges role and then says she researches lots of things and it makes her knowledgeable.

I've been a witness in court, to give sworn testimony under cross examination on an affidavit I tendered to court. The lawyers for the side I was working for, ran me through what I should and should not do, in order to respect the court.
Be respectful to the court, by being respectful to the judge, the barristers and both sides. Bow to the judge when entering and leaving the courtroom while it is in session. Be clean and well presented. Don't interrupt, especially when I am not on the stand. Speak clearly and loudly enough to be heard. Obviously don't swear or act in a belligerent manner to anyone, even if you are being badgered by an aggressive barrister.
Do the right thing by the court and you'll avoid being held in contempt!

I agree about Dr. Tobin. I think he won that case for the state too. I watched him testifying and I was hanging off every word. It was really interesting and he was so adamant and confident in his testimony. Also, he didn't muddle everything up with medical jargon. He explained everything in very simple terms that anyone would be able to understand.

If someone, ie doctor speigel in this case, tries to cause someone they've never met or performed a diagnosis of, to be hated by the world as a spousal abuser, based on hearsay from Heards legal team, unlike the opposing councils expert who had extensive interaction with Heard and relied on tests for their diagnosis, that person can't moan when the world notices and tells that person what it thinks of him and his actions....It was just karma and the karma was just.
