@@WadeHarrison in all honesty bro, I’m the past year I have become beyond obsessed with kayaking, especially WW, so I enjoy the information overload that you and others provide, besides, it helps your watch time to have longer videos when it comes to RUclipss monetization, which, if you’re putting in the time to give people such a great service in detail, you rightfully deserve the watch time and views. Very nice vessel. If I weren’t a lazy fisherman I would consider something like it. Sadly it cost more than my John boat and 9.9 mercury I troll around in. Well done on the review Wade.
I just got one and the left pedal shaft was wobbling more and more and turns out the bolt kept getting lose as I would peddle. And now I feel like I’m getting to much water in the hull. And be careful with those rod holders cause the edges are pretty ragged and can be
All real good feedback that’s why I do these videos not everyone’s experience is going to be the same. I suggest you reach out to the dealer you got it from Bonafide has been really good at taking care of issues like that if dealer can’t help
Yeah the drive just works so good and really between those can’t really go wrong either way both have a lot good features the turning on the native are better but the bonafide feels way faster over distance
You done a great job going over the new P127 bonafide I have one on per order can't wait to get mine question I have for you is how far apart is the back end of the front track to the front part of the back track ? Reason why I'm asking is the track they have are to far apart for me and I would like to add tracks next to the seat. But if you can get me them that I'd be much appreciated thanks.
@@WadeHarrison yes please cause I would like to put a track between the front and back track. I am a short person and I like to set up my things close to me, but in all the adds they don't tell ya how far apart they are. If you can do that for me I'd highly appreciate it thanks Cindy
I currently have a ss127 and just put a motorguide xi3 on it, but thinking of upgrading to the p127 or maybe just waiting till i have everything all paid up on mine and getting a p127 as well idk yet
If you have the Xi3 on the bow of the ss127 that’s a perfect mix of paddling meets motor I see no reason to get a p127 personally unless you just really want that pedal drive feature
Well with the p127 i wouldnt have to worry about registering it each yr saving me lil bit of $, and seeing the p127 is human powered i wouldn't have to worry about charging a 100ah battery all the time, lets just say if i waited 6 more months they p127 would've been out and i would've got that instead
I haven’t gotten it out yet on the water. I bought it on my last day off before work. Had to work then it’s been crappy weather since. Compared to what I had which was the lifetime Teton. Think I’m gonna love it once I get it out.
So true Jeff you will snap that spring rudder and probably lock your drive up In the mud or weeds..both have their pros and cons the hobie drives are a work of art the way they work, and I was just messing around when I say stuff like that I love the hobie brand and their designs i have been trying to line some up to do reviews on in the spring I have used several of them over the years Al all have been really good thanks for watching buddy..

That is very true that drive would not like rocks or trees! I would suggest All pedal drives to NOT to go over rocks or trees, But I know it happens and your right pros and cons on everything, but a quick reverse is something need all the time and is a very useful thing to have
@@WadeHarrison right now I have a hobie outback and I love everything but how low the seat sits. I dont fish a lot of shallow water myself so I’ve been keeping an eye one the p127 reviews as I’ve had a ss127 before. One thing that always turned me away from the natives was how much water was always sitting In The deck. How did the p127 do in that regard being it’s kind of a hybrid of a bonafide and a native.
Hobie's turning radius is a lot tighter... Not gonna lie the turning radius on this p127 looks pretty bad. So, tighter turning radius means less time using reverse. I think the standard ss127 is the better buy.

I’m torn between the ss127 or 127? Which should I purchase? I really think I’d like the peddle drive better
P127 more options
