HIGH FIVE GUYS GOOD STUFF

Thank you Mikey
You guys are definitely among my top 4 motorcycle Vlogs.
That’s a real compliment! Thank you for saying so! We appreciate the support Michael!
I agree. Good channel and great content as it makes me want to ride more. I like the family friendly content. 👍
@@MichaelWilliamsJr78 That's what we like to hear. Glad we can get you inspired to get out on the open road!
Thanks for watching Michael 🤘🤘
Funeral mountains, Furnace creek in Death Valley...so friendly those names...lol. My Grandpa had a mining claim there before it became a national monument...I actually got to go in thru Lathrup Wells, Nv and mine some in my teens way back in the 60's...
Whoa! That had to be very cool! Thanks for sharing and yes, the names are definitely friendly or better maybe fitting.
We went to Death Valley in July of '85. Then went again a couple of years later in January. I personally prefer July. It might sound crazy but to really experience that incredible place the heat is part of it. Where else can you feel what 125° is like.
Definitely! We've seen it in both cases, and each season brings its own beauty for sure. Just gotta watch out for the kickstand in the hot asphalt 🤘
Thanks for watching Jersey J!
The Good Life!! Ride to Eat and Eat to Ride!!
Hell yes!!
I love your vlogs, as a Brit living in China I'm 'riding' vicariously 'till I get back to the UK in July and get my 2020 Lowrider S 131ci which has been siting waiting for me for nearly a year now, these type of vlogs have kept me relatively sane. Could I make a tiny suggestion? Perhaps a little bit more of the night life on your vids? This one was excellent but often you get to your destination and that's it. I love the riding, I love the scenery, but when I ride I'm always looking forward to that beer (or 5) at the end of the day, it's a major part of 'my' biker scene. Would be great to see the US equivalent.
Thanks for watching Boring Old Fart! Glad we can scratch the riding itch in the mean time. That's one badass bike you've got waiting for you, that's exciting!
And thanks for the tip, we've started filming more of that lately, so we'll have some of that in upcoming videos. That beer (or 5) is always a fun way to wind down after an epic day of riding, and if we had to imagine, you're not the only one who would like to see the night life in all of these areas we wind up in, so we'll capture more of that in the future. Thanks again, we're always open to tips!
Hopefully you can get to that 131 soon and start ripping!
Thanks for the support, we'll see ya down the road..
Diggin the orange plaid,it just seems to get better and better, hats off to the work your putting in, the 3 of you
Thanks Derek!!
Death valley is great riding. Made 4 or 5 rides to DV. Stunning scenery that changes practically by the mile. Been 6 or 7 years since I've ridden there on my 02RKC. Gonna do it again the spring.
We dig it too. In fact we just got back. 😂😂
@@2LaneLife Cool. Bit chilly this time of year. I've always gone March or April. Depends on the temps. I stay in Lone Pine so it's a temp watch between Lone Pine and Death Valley. I learned the hard way to also check the wind forecast before making the ride. One year about 2008 or so, I drop down the Tehachapi Pass (riding from the Bay Area) to 14 and make the left towards Lone Pine. The westerly wind kicked up and got so bad the big rigs were pulling over. I could barely ride staying on the shoulder doing 20 mph. It sucked and I still had a long ways to Lone Pine. Big rig went by probably doing about 40-50. I pulled out and got right on his tail to avoid the wind. Hated tailgating like that but worked out well staying on his tail all the way to Piersonville where the wind died down to manageable levels. Great riding the following days after that episode.
Josh's drone footages are badass. One other thing that I always enjoy watching on your videos are the diners and restos you guys have your meals at. Have a safe ride always, everyone.🤘
Thanks Motorhead! We'll keep all those coming your way!
@@2LaneLife: Thanks also, guys! Just keep 'em coming.🤘
Great video guys!!!
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it👍
'Ride, Eat, Sleep, Repeat'.........what a life !
Not to bad. But there is work in this believe it or not.
Well, done. Great channel .Great ride through Bad water basin. I rode through back in 2015 from the Shoshone end. Just for your readers info who my be planning a trip. If you turn left at the bottom of Artist's drive, "Just down the Road" is the Bad water lookout which is 282ft below sea level. cheers Greg in Coromandel, New Zealand

New addition to my bucket list of rides. Thanks guys you just keep inspiring me to get out and see more of this amazing country we live in. Also I went back and watched your first blog this morning and what difference a year has made. Going from I phones to the cameras you use now and adding Josh by far the best RUclips channel out there. Plus helps watching you ride through the dessert when I look out my window and see snow here in Midland Tx. Safe travels 🤘
Thanks Darrell. We’d love to have you come out and ride. We appreciate all of your support and for sure what a difference a year makes. 🤘🤘👍👍

Riding and smoking meat. Living the dream guys. Great show! I’m definitely firing up my smoker this weekend 😆
All right Steve!! Go for it!
Such a nice ride, u guys are showing a lot of discipline keeping those hogs from speeding down the road, the size of that bar was incredible 😳
Thanks for the comment Setzerpendence. You’ll need to check out the Happy Burro one day.
Great ride. I’m going to do the reverse to Vegas in April from Modesto Ca. Over Carson Pass Hwy 88. Thanks for the cool ideas for the stop on the way.

Mike Loves to ride
Another Great video, especially for those many miles away not able to ride due to cold wet weather. I really like the way you all show and tell about the old places that most would just ride / drive by. I enjoy history of the old west, again, Great job. I think maybe Josh coud use a slightly taller shield, I've noticed at higher speeds, he is trying get lower, out of the wind behind his shield. But if he is content, disregard. Looking foward to the next adventure!
Thanks Mike. We appreciate your comments.
Entertaining and very well produced. Keep up the excellent work.
Thank you!! We will!👍👍
I used to go to that place outside of Beaty with the crashed plane at the end of their driveway. Oh Yeah..........
Too bad they are closed.
That is to bad. Check our J’s next time you get there.
@@2LaneLife the place with the crashed plane was a brothel............ I doubt I’ll get the same service at Jr’s.......... ??
Nice roadtrip pictures. I just saw the movie " zabriskies point" lately. Greetings from Frankfurt, Germany,. ... Matt.
Thanks Matt. 🤘🤘👍👍
Maybe josh could freeze frame on some of the key road signs so we get an idea of what area is all about. 🤔😉
We'll throw signs in where we can/where it makes sense to 🤘👍
I remember watching Death Valley Days narrated by Ronald Reagan and sponsored by 20 Mule Team Borax!
Oh yea!~ Throwback 👍
Damn it....now I want BBQ and I'm locked in (stuck in the Texas winter storm with no power) with everything closed.
Sorry about that and hope all of you guys are okay in our friendly state of Texas.
@@2LaneLife It's all good. Many were left without power and water, but we'll pull through.
Freakin' awesome filmography, editing, and even music choices. AWESOME! Oh, and you mean there are motorcycles involved too? I didn't know it could get better! keep up the good work!
Thanks for that @Humunguswarrior !! We're always learning and trying new things, glad you like the vids!! Plenty more to come. Thanks for the inspiration 🤘
Holy Crap. My god, idk what to say anymore
🤘🤘👍👍
Did you keep an eye out for The Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote? That is their neighborhood after all.
You know we did!! 😂😂🤘🤘👍👍
Sticky tires ;-)

Josh wouldn’t have gotten stuck if he was on a new street glide....😉
😂😂👍👍🤘🤘
Great job, Does anyone else ever ride your guys or id it just
Thanks and ??

Thanks Hector
For those who want to find it, it is Artists Palette.
👍
it's worth mentioning.. I'm,sure you fellas have seen AMC's attempt at this type stuff with Norman REDUS from "walking dead"... it's really terribly done, a amazing shit show of no skills... considering they had access to the very best Union GRIPmcrews and riggers and camera teams in the film industry it's really shocking how badly they did on all levels... as a 30 year vetran of the film industry and former,dept.head... I have to nod to you fellas...mthen sure as hell could have learned a lot from your work and possibly your R gear and edit skills ... no doubt in my view.. if they had hired you guys as crew or,consultants.. you might have saved that show.. good, job on your skills... impressive , to all your team
We hadn’t seen it. But we appreciate the confidence and comments related to our work. It’s very Flattering. Thank you!
Another great one! Have you guys hit Mountain Springs Saloon yet? It’s between Vegas and Pahrump. Cool little biker spot. 🤘🏻🇺🇸
Nope, we’ll need to go back. Thanks for mentioning Jose.
@@2LaneLife that’s exactly what I say when I miss something and find out about it later. “I need to go back!” 😁
hi guys, again: switzerland is in da house!
Switzerland in da house!!! What's up Sandro! Thanks for watching 🤘
@@2LaneLife always a pleasure, guys!
Curious what is the helmet cam or gen-version your using ?...it has a unique wide anamorphic look at time’s.. got a say your guys camera work is perhaps the best in the entire game right now..!! Well done
Wow! Thank you for that comment! We sure try and we’re using GoPro 8’s and have one 9, Josh uses.
When you guys are planning these rides, how far in advance do you book your hotels? Also, something you do not mention in too much detail is fuel access, hours of operation and typical distances between said refuel points. Thanks
Hey Scott! For the most part we book them the same day as we don't know where we'll end up for the night until we've already covered some miles. For trips that are planned out farther in advance where we know which cities we'll be staying in, sometimes we'll book them a week or so in advance. When riding through desolate areas or long stretches of 2Lanes, we'll either stop at the first gas stop we see, or use the nav on the bike to search for the nearest stations when on the road. We rarely run into areas where there are gas stops farther than the range on our tanks. It can definitely get tricky at night, but we make sure to stay fueled up!
I think it’s cool you include josh more! I think he should have a mic also, I mean he don’t talk much anyhow or even other riders that come along not more than 4 tho ha! Ride safe guys I hope I get to do this type of stuff new subscriber 👍🏼
Wow...thats so awesome, I'm going to need a few months now to see all this on my bucket list 💯😎
Thanks for the feedback
👍👍🤘🤘
Damn Beatty now I ghot to go back. Do they still have the Burro races? Been years and I'm on the East coast but I need to fire up the Street Glide and do some riding...Maybe talk the better half into an RV rental vacation.
Great spot in Beatty! Get out and travel if you have the means!! Great little town.
LOL, a little bit of snow A?
It was all good! 🤘🤘👍👍😂😂
Does Josh only speak when he`s eating.. just asking.
He very well trained. 😂😂
Are those roads, where snow is nearby, salted? How do your Harleys stand it if you can’t wash them up often while on trip? I’m curious, because salt on roads is the only thing slowing me down from riding my beloved Harley. This is sad, because my motorcycle is my medicine for everything. Great vlogs, guys! 👍🏻
Nope, the roads are rarely salted out here, especially with light snow cover. Salt can sure put a damper on things!
Thanks for watching👍
@@2LaneLife thanks very much for your reply!

What kind of saddlebags does Josh have?
Viking
I miss the Opera House.
👍👍
Did anyone catch what months the guys made this trip? All I ever caught was “this time of year” when mentioned.
This was in January 2021. Usually our videos are uploaded within a few weeks of filming. We just took a trip out there a few weeks ago and the weather was great! Nothing like Death Valley in the winter and Fall👍
Great MC Motovlog, Gentlemen! How did you decide Road Glides over Street Glides or any other HD bikes?
Thanks Kevin!! We've both had various Road Kings, Street Glides, and Road Glides. Over the years, we've come to prefer the road glides for wind protection and comfort. It all comes down to preference.
@@2LaneLife Amen 🙏 to that! Performance Road Glide it is!
@@Kevin_Ho70 That's the move!
when your riding in cold climates do you wear snowsuits or what?
Mostly just layer up although we did break out some Dickie Lined Jump Suits recently.
Lance what kind of hat is that and where did you purchase it? I think I may be able to pull off that look too 🤠
Gus Serateli
@@2LaneLife much appreciated 🙂✌🏻
The last words in the video: "Does anybody here speak english?'" LOL. You must be in Cali. But, hey, Nobody else knows what a real taco is.
I just looked it up, You're still in Nevada! Pretty close to the border, though. :)
Haha yup, Beatty Nevada. LOL don't think they've had a real taco in their life. Plenty of drinks to go around though. Thanks for watching Karl!
