This was recorded a while ago before I started learning about the settings. Since I never actually played Fortnite I always thought you would always use DX12. Now that I have tried it several times, I see that Performance mode on max detail is quite pleasing to the eyes.
In this case it was running on 2 threads which I did not know at the time. For some reason or another only 2 threads were active in Windows. I am going to run it back with the same GTX 1070 and I have switched the CPU to my trusty i7-3770. So now we can enjoy 8 threads.
I normally use performance mode over dx12 on low end machines.

DX12 is very laggy in Fortnite for some reason. Because of the 4 cores and 4 threads, the 3rd Gen i5 will make the game stutter.
