I greatly prefer this over MvC2. The backgrounds match the sprite art and the levels are better themed around the characters. MvC2, as popular as it may be, has not aged well at all. Most of the characters are trash and the 3D backgrounds look horrendous by modern standards. All it has going for it is the insane roster number, which, if we're being honest, was just a massive asset flip.

X-men 97 is superb , superior watch at the moment.
