      Yes it was fun trying in Newport, Oregon, but way more fun to dig them near Seaside, Oregon or Long Beach, Washington. The Razor Clams are much more abundant and easier to spot in that region. Thanks for stopping by to watch! Check out my other clamming and fishing videos too.

    You will have a bit more luck angling top of your clam gun toward ocean. If you cut the legth down a bit it leaves less airspace and creates vaccuum faster and pull up more sand.

      That sand in Newport, Oregon is so hard. It’s so much easier to dig near Seaside / Long Beach areas. Thanks for the tips and watching the video.

      @@pnwf I noticed in Alaska they don't lay straight up, with slight angle on gun I broke less of them. Never tried hard digging like that and it don't look fun. Short gun works slick in soft sand and more often than not bring them up first pull. Never claimed in Oregon but gonna try it soon.
