Hey John looks like it was a beautiful day and you even managed some fish what do you know about that. Hey do you guys get sand crabs up that far. Or is the water too cold
Try small curly tail grubs in motor oil color with a spinner blade in front. I have been trying to get people to try it out for me and can email you how to rig it up if you would like. It works awesome
Yes, you will need a license and I don’t believe there was a size limit. As for catch limit, I think it is 12, but I would check their regulations. Thank you for watching and commenting as well. 🙏
Cool video do you get hassled by the sheriff ? He told me I couldnt fish 1000 feet of Haystack Rock. I thought I was legal but apparently, he didn't think so. He didnt give me a ticket. I wonder if someone saw me fishing and called him?
Haystack rock and surround area is protected which is why you can’t fish within a certain distance of it. There’s signs up by haystack rock stating this.
Reel blue custom rods WTH does that mean ! To all fisherman , please start you videos with what tools you are using and then tell us the location of your honey holes !
Nice video Sir. That is on my bucket list. Surf perch on the Oregon coast. Keep the videos coming. Fish on my friend!
Thank you and I’m glad you enjoyed it. Hope you are able to check that off your bucket list as well. Tight lines.
Awesome video! Your channel looks really cool!! Just subbed too!👍
Thank you Pond 🐊. I truly appreciate the positive feedback and support.
Find sand crabs; find red perch. Look for them at your feet on out going wave. Best time hour before and hour after tide.
Yes Bill, they work as well, and I will have to do a video on it. Thank you for watching.
How do you clean ur reel after each surf fishing trip?

Whats your rod and reel? Looks like a nice light setup.
It is one of my Salmon rods that work perfectly for Surf Perch fishing, and the reel is a Shimano bait caster. Thank you for watching and commenting.
0:01 Surp Perch? ;)
@@Chrissers2010 - you caught it 😂😂😂. Huge typo. Thanks for watching and commenting though. Appreciate your support to the channel.

@@randychangallcards274 - that’s a good one. What state did you catch it in? California, Oregon, or Washington?
@@randychangallcards274 - got it. Congratulations again, and thank you for watching and commenting.
Didn't know it was legal to fish anywhere on cannon beach. I never see anyone fish there so I never get my gear out there
I sure is. Just make sure you have your license, and the fishing is great there.
There is a sign it’s a reserved area
Only by the Haystack Roman. You can fish everywhere else legally.
