Hello,the steering wheel and radio makes it more modern,once there's sound it will be awesome.
A grand for the steering wheel and module that doesn't guarantee it will work and a headunit that looks nice but doesn't work. Don't get these guys to change your brakes! The joys of owning a Porsche!

It appears that they actually don't know what they are doing. I am carrying out the exact same modification. the module he speaks about is £750 from Porsche, and depending on the type of radio he needs another module to get that to work as well.

When I had my apple car play stereo fitted had the same issues
Remember my stereo guy saying it would cost a few hundred extra for the optical fibre cables to work with the Bose system but he managed to get it working with sound so I left like that. Sound quality is fine but then I’m half deaf now at my age
I have similar vw soundsystem where speakers won't work with aftermarket head unit. Nothing worked. Nothing. No adapter, decoder or how it's called. :(
How u fix the honk . I put mine but the honk don't sound
how did you get the horn to work....i had the same problem in mine.
Had to reposition the magnet and make sure the airbag was fitted correctly

if you're going to change out the wheel, why not just go with a 991.2 wheel?

Nice car. I have a 996 Turbo S year older than yours but the interior is far more dated than the 997.
