- Two days ago legendary guitarist was laid for his eternal rest.
The world once again lost a brilliant musician.
Here you can see just a fragment of his brilliancy during his successful career
During this time our very own family member Bob Daisley was playing with him.
Will miss you Gary !
Out of this world. Gary the King of the hard rock world Moooore.❤
An unorthodox 12 string acoustic blistering solo before he explodes the stage with more axe genius. What a loss to rock and blues. He'll never be replaced or equalled. LEGEND!
Gary moore really was a monster on guitar. I like his rock stuff more than his blues stuff.
Spot on man , I really dig this period around 84 to 86 , he shreds like a beast and has awesome musicians like Neil carter , Ian pace etc and all the whammy bar stuff and fast picking . He freakin rocks
True! Loved his monster speed and riffs then.
Then it became blues and.. oh well
He got me into metal
92Jaghk he needed to make some money
Totally agree really don't care for the serious blues stuff. Ironically it was much more commercially successful for him.
RIP Gary 😓
wow.....do you know HOW HARD it is to play an acoustic 12 string that fast and precise???
RIP Gary......this is amazing stuff.
Another great at many styles is Steve Stevens. So much great stuff outta that guy's fingers!
yes,it´s very very difficult!
Vai w/DLR on "Good Times", and although not a 12-string technically Pat Metheny at his 94-95 tours with his fretless nylon 6-string are about the closest I can think of. Maybe Segovia or Carlos Montoya have something like this in their catalogs somewhere??
Gotta have strong ass calluses for it
You should listen to angel aispuro, is a compleatley different genere but man... what a monster
Todays youth wouldn't understand. God I miss this stuff.
Those young people there should to the beach instead, they rather lay out in the sun instead of soaking up the music. W Percival New Zealand Gardenia Band 🇨🇰 Kia Orana
What if I told you we understand
I understand, but agree that the majority wouldn't
He is real guitar maestro...
Neil Carter. The guy can play EVERYTHING
That guy , can play a sax!!........also brilliant addition to UFO
Absolutely fantastic!!! Gary was a incredible talent on guitar 🎸 he was at the top of the tree with Eddie van Halen Rip both of you
Gary Moore is the worlds best hard rock Master Lead Guitarist in United Kingdom & the worlds. RIP Gary Moore.
I thought Gary was at his peak here doing the rock thing. Later he settled down into the blues venues which were also unbelievable. Great man
My favorite Guitarist Of All Time..From Back On The Streets To Wild Frontiers That Was The Gary Moore I Grew Up On 🎸
Великолепный гитарист и вокалист ,в плане игры на гитаре разноплановый и с душой и мыслью царство небесное ему
Thanks for this gem. Always loved Gary in his hard rock phase. He is was truly a monster on guitar! Rip my man and see you later. Thanks for the music.
Knew word for word of the whole album by aged 4, and still listening 30 yrs later! Still arguably the best guitarist ever!
Saw Gary Moore in concert. A true Master of the Stratocaster at work. RIP Gary!
Flamenco licks sound really cool on a 12-string acoustic! Gary was such a gifted and underrated player. God rest his soul.
flamenco licks lol
AMAIN! AMAIN!
GMoorefan115
I've not heard of Passion and Fire, I thought he was in Thin Lizzy before this?
I love the shredding 12 string acoustic intro.....12 string!
Oh my Lord what a masterpiece
Shredding on a 12 string, cant remember ever having seen that before and i have only played guitar for 37 years....
And this wasn't even his best performance with a 12-String-Acoustic, but unfortunately the only filmed one.
He plays acoustic cleaner than Yngwie
@@pleasepermitmetospeakohgre1504 Yngwie sounds awful on acoustic. Actually, he plays a classical guitar, because of the nylon-strings.
Definite Al Di Meola influences in that solo.
@@rockdinosaur666 No, not Al Di Meola, but definitely John McLaughlin influences. Gary stated that once. And again, this isn't even his best acoustic performance.
From Corridors of Power to this album fucking awesome
1 person dislike this becos he dont even know who was gary moore!! RIP SIR gary moore!
ur my one of my IDOL for GUITAR!
Saw him in 85..opening for Rush,,,was totally blown away by his guitar skills...will miss this man very much..
Randy Brindle saw that tour in Cleveland. He blew the roof off the arena!!
@@tomh9315 No Doubt...he blew the doors off the stadium...it was in San Fransisco...great tour, Glad we both got the chance to see it!!..
Cleveland rocks
I am shocked, Gary Moore, such a good guitar player. Miss him so much...
Another great rare find of the Master. Mr Moore. R.I.P Guitar God...thx for sharing.
How Daisley didn’t sue the shit out of Sharon and Ozzie. I read that Bob basically wrote the Diary of a Madman album; which is Osbourne’s best album by far. I now know who to give the credit to.
Bob wrote all the lyrics on Blizzard and Diary and co wrote all the music with Randy and some with Kerslake as well.
That intro is from space, blasting out from another dimension!
saw all of them playing live in 1987, in cascais my town! what a concert of of the best i´ve seen live.Bob Daisley what a bass player, empty rooms bass solo was fenomenal.
Saw myself in the audience, damn what a nerd I was back in the eighties. Luckily I already had good taste in music.
That`s cool man! (we where nerds, but still cool)
The first concert of my life was this monster with Baron Rojo in the partys from Madrid in 1987. I remember finish, the people begin to go out and Gary come back Still 20 minutes more with Parisien walkways. Amazing, incredible, always will be in my heart. GARY MOORE was the best.
beautiful guitar playing and also beautiful at 1.37 :)
Probably the most technically gifted guitarist to have ever sprung forth from the Emerald Isle during the last century. Acoustic work on this clip gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME! That's when you know you're really good. Plugging into an amp and cranking up the distortion can hide many mistakes, but you're fully exposed when it comes to the acoustic strings (and a 12-string, ftm). Gary sure doesn't mess around, does he???
;-D
I’m getting goosebumps watching this, The first all out acoustic fiesta that I’ve seen by Gary!
He never did these acoustic eruptions on his albums ... what a surprise !
Gary was not underrated by no means so, an inspiration to many guitarists, famous and otherwise. It was commercially where he was underrated I would suggest.
Mark W Wilson
Very true.!!!
Nah, he was definitely underrated as a player. The only way Gary could be said to have received the respect and recognition he deserved is if he topped every best guitarist poll ever. Gary was God and until there are churches in his honour all over the globe he will remain underrated.
@@mnhay27 Yeah you mean the polls that has Joan Jett as one of the top 10 best guitar players of all time?Polls means nothing! It's not about who's a great musician or guitar player it's how's in the charts and"popular"and that can be any bum on the planet with a guitar hanging around there neck and they can even play one note.
@@peteyoung7665 ed sheeran prime example.
Legend. ...the moment I heard " "Don't take me for a Loser" from Corridors of Power, ...I was NEVER the same, turned half of Atlanta onto Gary following that in tue early 80's...for me the best Rock N Roll guitarist... they'll never be another, and then he finishes his career as a Blues legend for a cherry on top, for me the gunslinger years from Corridors forward are his best work.
Bob Daisley is a great guy. Always loved his hairstyle, like mine....naturly.
OH MY SWEET BABY JESUS.. I HAVE NEVER,EVER SEEN GARY PLAY ACOUSTIC GUITAR BEFORE..
AND HE PLAYED FLAMENCO GUITAR STYLE..
THIS IS IS BRILLIANT VIDEO FOOTAGE..IN HIGH SCHOOL UNCLE~MR.GARY MOORE WAS A MASSIVE, ENORMOUS DEAL TO ME..
NOT QUITE AS BIG AS UNCLE~MR.MICHAEL SCHENKER THOUGH..
THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS VIDEO...
Gary was so underrated!!
So was Beethoven ... tons of talent but completely underrated ....
Only 1 Gary Moore 🙏🎼
Wow! Haven't seen Gary play the 12string before - amazing! 👏🤘
Gary played like his life depended on it. There are many great guitarists, but no one matched his intensity, imho.
A friggin' awesome rendition of one of my favorite Gary Moore tunes! Thanks Dude!!
Robert William Gary Moore "R.i.P" 🎸😎👊

Top 3 rock guitarists of all time with an incredible ability of soloing to give you goosebumps
Great Gary...And Band ...Great !!! Salud y Vida Pa'lante !!! Cheers and Life On !!!
Saw them at the 'Garden Party' a one day concert at Milton Keynes in 1986. Marillion headlined. Fantastic day.
Incredible ! Comment que ça envois !!! Quelle époque ! Formidable ! Aujourd'hui que de la merde...
Nobody has ever been so underrated. It is a real shame. Who is more technically skilled? Who is more diverse across genres? Who has better feel? Literally nobody can match him across all 3.
Mr. Robert William Gary Moore ⚡ 🔥 🎸
Mr. Gary "Lord Of The Strings" Moore 🎸
This concert was at Oostende . I only witnessed the last 2 songs Gary played.... We arrived much too late, because of some traffic jams..... Thanx for sharing !
Rod Stewart was headlining, during the Ruby Turner set , Gary was checking her out on the stage right side, he looked fascinated by her blues. Now we know why , since he started blues after that period. Still hot pictures from that day , Kreuners , Dr.and the medics , Gary Moore and Rod Steward
CLASS ACT! Been a fan since the Lizzy DAYS!
so many of the best and greatest legends leave us too soon..today's music scene is poorer without these great musicians..this is a great video of gary, thank u! first i have seen him with an acoustic.

Like the on screen graphic informing "FUTURE" generations of "VICTIMS" know the name of this timeless classic - "shadows of the past!!"....
I was there that day. Oostende. A one day festival. Gary was on before Rod Stewart. The crowd didn’t give a toss except for a few fans like me front row.
I saw them in the same year as this at the Milton Keynes Bowl.
Oh damn i forgot about this video 👊
Shadows of the past, victims of the future! Yeah!

Gary the master guitarist!!!! Rip
This was far out man....
Great stuff. The BEST thank you for sharing. I never would have seen this if you hadnt
Sharon Osbourne must have directed this so you would not see Bob Daisley.
tdolz- what do you mean? I apologize that I do not know but who is Bob Daisley?
The bass player.
@Warren552011 + Black sabbath.
Or she'd have replaced footage of Bob Daisley with Rudy Sarzo instead.
Genius comment.
and Gary Ferguson on drums, love that drummer
Song is ok but hes a great guitarist, great voice as well. RIP
had me at Bob Daisley all time A leaguer

Good or bad, Gary is my housegod, a virtuoso.
I wss there. GM Playing on a festival before Rod Stewart. The crowd didnt give a toss about Gary, except a few. You couldnt go to the front as it was packed with housewives waiting for the Rod.
Crowd says different bro

Great album!
Today.. 2022...Searching each day for the answers,
Watching our hopes disappear.
Set on a course for disaster,
Living our lives in fear.
Our leaders leave us in confusion.
For them there's only one solution.
Caught in the fight for survival,
Trapped with our backs to the wall.
Are we just lambs to the slaughter,
Who wait for the axe to fall?
Our world is headed for destruction.
Our fate is in the hands of fools.
Shadows of the past,
Victims of the future.
How long will it last?
Victims of the future?
Into the verbal arena,
Armed with the lies that they tell.
They're fighting for world domination,
Backed by the weapons of hell.
Is there no end to all this madness?
Is there no hope for us at all?......
Natural player, Rory, Etc...
Wonder if Neil Murray still has those Hamers he used with Gary Moore.Collectors Items..
