I live in Brighton & Gary spent the last few years of his life living in Peacehaven, about 3-4 miles along the coast. He was often in the Guitar & Amp Shop in the North Laines, shredding or playing the blues or whatever. Watching & listening to him when he was literally feet away was indescribable so I'm even going to try, other than to say that on top of his speed, which is legendary there was so much more. As a non musician I can't put it into words but I feel truly privileged to have seen him in that environment. R.I.P Gary Moore, a legend of the highest order.

Hot Gossip. He was trying to go commercial..like V.H.
But he always loved Metheny,Thrall, Beck.. I used to scream at him at home..leads all over the house.. I kept saying.."think Beck"..its not how fast you play.its what you don't play.
He taught me 12 chords. He could write pop songs in 5 mins flat. Put me in the studio. Him, Andy Pile (kinks) Neil murray? I was dreadful!..I thought.
He was better as Daisley said.
Relaxed...I really dont think he thought he was elevated as his heroes. ...Peter Green etc. I love Ozzie tho. Yrs later he was so friendly..Glenn Hughes.
I remember when we first all got together...and Cozy Powell..what a darling..I thought Neil Murray a geek.

There was a rumour Ozzy asked Gary to join his band. Gary wasn't interested.

Gary almost did it from what I remember reading. Pretty sure Sharon tried hiring him for pennies on the dollar & Gary blew that off. BTW Ozzy did sing on Gary Moore's "The Law of the Jungle" & "Led Clones".

its obvious here that Bob is no kid . He looks great for his age and he does. Was on a video post quite a while ago and it was about Bob and he had his hair done as it is now and his dressing was a bit more " with it ",ay midly more "rock starish " but still reserved to a degree more for a man his age etc but still youthful. One of the comments / posters had the balls to knock Bob for his hair style ( he's had this style for a long time that I remember , Ozzy years and maybe it was longer . The most annoying part of this assole's insults was that given Bob's age the he was " old " and he looked like a " idiot " and should have grown up . The hair style was tooo youthful and his dressing which was I remember a Black dress shirt with a sort of sequence in it and Black . slack like pants . I thought he looked very good, was not loud at all , he tried to still look like the " rock star he is " ( for most people they have no clue who this man is ) yet more like an elder statesman of the music scene. What galled me is how the most was that this moron took nothing into account how tasteful his dressing was to start with including his hair style was. It was just like Bob should roll over, dress like Benny Hill or George Burns and start looking like he was a Senior citizen or in a retirement community setting ( I'm in the USA ). Bob is for those who know , a legit rock star and far from being some lightweight no matter how in the rear of things he is .

Bob needs to get a more masculine haircut. I thought it was a middle aged woman in the thumbnail.

@Gary Smith It was victims of the Future Gary m I remember it as " Shapes of Things was on it " , this was actually a " Beck" Song , the song just fit the album title and was a better version than becks by far in terms of the Melody !
