well you can't put a price on the craftsmanship and time it took to make an iced out watch so you have that luxury of making the prices up but as far as materials go none of those iced out watches are worth more than 50k
Very naive to think there’s not a huge and very well informed market for watches, most people in the market looking to spend +20k know the prices and you don’t just “make them up”

Michael, I think (mho) you are a very nice buyer in this episode, i have designed several nice precious diamond pieces from scratch (sought the perfect stones in some amazing world spots) and I would say your buy in this episode was a bit too expensive. If the seller went from 55k to 25k in seconds..means that for the 5.5M ring he would accept 2.5M, maybe less. What a crazy way to play with money, i can just imagine the old wealthy folks paying asking price not knowing (or caring) that there is so much money lost in between. That's not how it works...at all. Not only does it not scale up directly, but there is much more money to be lost by cutting percentages at the higher end. Not to mention it all depends on what he paid for something.
Sometimes they lose money aswell because it's hard to find buyers for certain buys, sometimes these big purchases from the store are a step in the dark and they need to sell it at a loss. To counter that they play with the price testing your desire for the purchase if they can get more money out of you.
Michael don't you feel betrayed when someone you've known for 12 years says his "special" price for you is 55,000$ but then agrees on 25,000$ later.. You might feel like you've gotten a better deal but I can't get over the fact he tried to rip you off for more then double, seems like very weird treatment to me.
I get that he's trying to make a profit but if he was aiming to get 20-25k for it I would assume you much rather have him just say that or maybe start bidding at 30-35k instead. That's just my thoughts on it though, would like to hear yours on it.
Michael knows how to deal with salesmen like these because he buys expensive stuff all the time, and he knows that they ALWAYS quote prices way above what they're actually willing to sell for. That's why he knew to drop the offer so much. As for the salesman, you can be damn sure that he's making money on that sale, if he wasn't, he'd have simply refused the offer.
Lmao these salesmen are so text book you can pretty much anticipate what they will say next. For example at 4:25 one guy tells him it’s complete it has papers, box, etc. Then at 4:55 the guy who wanted to give his two cents done a mistake and told a customer the line where they wanted to send it to Switzerland to get it Authenticated but quickly realizes that this is not something you say to a customer so he fumbles, does that “uhhhhhh” think of something quick line and gets himself out of trouble by saying to get it a box. Lmao. Salesmen, never trust a word they say.
My friend been involved in business for the last 17 years, selling and buying and I own a general trading company. One of the few things I’ve learnt in life whilst dealing with sales reps is that they would say absolutely anything to get a sale. SPECIALLY JEWELERS. They throw figures outta their heads hoping to catch a poor soul that says yes that’s a good price. It’s also seen in the video how much mark up they put on items whilst Michael knows how to bargain them well. Look how much they wanted for the cuff links and how much Michael ended up grabbing them for. Salesmen and truth??? Too far fetched.
You are right on!.Just look at what they want for the "picassos",it is a joke, these pieces arent even painted by picasso. He made hundreds of different pieces in his workshop, and some were picked out and made in numbers, painted by hired decorators and sold to turists.Untill 20 years ago most of these pieces cost hundreds of $,and now you wouldnt have to pay over 100.000 for any of them, these guys wants 400-500 000,i dont think so.
This Michael old man always has no knowledge or clue on the stuffs he buys. He buys things just because they’re expensive, which is not wrong. But that is also one of the reasons why he’s getting ripped off hard all the time.
The best part is, they say it was $580.000 back in 1990 and now $200.000, so price is like 20-30% (with inflation) of the retail price. Then Michael goes about saying it's a good investment and will probably increase in price because it's 1 of 1. There's a reason the price is way lower than retail and no that debris is not gonna increase in price.
The funny thing the pitcher I find is in edition of 100 this is 80. Wonder if he made several diffrent ones in diffrent sizes with the same motives. Of this is a fake
you are gifted, i like this channel, it doesn't happen to me that often but i caught myself having a smile on my face the whole video. keep doing that especially thank you!
I give this video a thumbs up because of the two owners, they seams really nice. I think the fact that he started by 55k and go down to 25k is he knows his costumer, if he started with 25k he probably will not going to sell them so he went up knowing that M Will go down and finally will agree on the perfect price that is good for both of them. Also M seems like a very smart guy know more than the guys who is selling hem things. This was the first time I ever write a comment on a video but I just liked it......

24:45 that face :D :D "Another thing i dont make money of because of Michael"
When I first saw his videos I thought what a ponce, but now I think hes a genuine guy with a great sense of humour, first impressions are not always right.
Hey Michael, Plz do a drum duet-That would be cool!! TY for showing us $40M+ in 26 minutes. Its an event that I've never experienced before. I've been in $20M+ mansions and driven $1M cars but to actually be educated on those pieces was a real treat-Thx again. I luv that Picasso Bull (I'd be happy with the vase & painting never mind that its a Picasso-That's no BS) All the very BEST!! Cheers from Vancouver, Canada!!
It could be that he knows there will be some haggling, so he started high, or it could be that he is investing in this relationship, especially this guy is giving him free ad on a youtube channel that sees hundreds of thousands of views per clip. If you look at his face when he said done, he looks like a guy who just got f*ed, i think he lost some money on this one just to make Michael happy.
Michael, no matter what classless Adam says those shoes are classy and so elegant. Your one of one in fashion. U know how to rock clothing n look good. Props
That just says a lot about the BS factor in this store. "I just made these, they gems are very rare. For you, I can do 55. But they worth A LOT LOT more."... OK! How about 25? Deal! ... Those cuff links probably cost the guy 5 to 6 thousand dollars.
@@Yumadlol Explain something here please. Exactly how by making this personal and directly attacking me adds to the conversation? Do you have a vested interested in this particular store, or do you run a similar operation that my comment made you take it so personal? Or are you one of those types that get off by putting down others from the comfort of their sofa meanwhile they haven't done jack **it a day in their miserable lives? Which is it? You don't need to answer. I won't be engaging any further. I have a life to attend to.
I love seeing glimpses of the real business side of Michael when he's doing deals, that's the meat & potatoes of these videos. "That includes Tax" - having the balls to tell someone what they should sell it for. Thats what got him where he is, and you should be there too. Don't be afraid, one day you'll be long gone so who cares?
Astonishing what lurks behind a very ordinary shop front. The collection has me intrigued. The wealth of America is astounding to a peasant like me,mere trinkets worth millions. For all that,we in our basement kitchen here in Chelsea London have enjoyed this cleverly videoed jaunt around a very high end jeweller. As ever, thank you Michael and Adam, and of course ,more please!

I'm in agreement with Adam and he's not alone. While I find the watch he wanted to be not for me I support his thoughts on stainless or white gold over rose gold or yellow gold 100%. My favorite piece is the Patek Calatrava 5196G in solid White Gold, I think the silver schemes are infinitely better than most gold patterns.
RelaxingFeelings this fool you speak of lowered the price by 30k in under ten seconds. Perhaps he knows how much it’s worth and how much is a respectable reasonable offer. Dumbass.

I did a little bit of research on those Picasso vases. They go for anywhere from $10k-at the most $150K. These guys are nuts to sell for $400K.

Go Optimus all these dumb asses of Beverley hills like to pay extra money for their horrible stuff
Nestor Tapia no shit. They are shysters.
The funny thing the pitcher I find is in edition of 100 this is 80. Wonder if he made several diffrent ones in diffrent sizes with the same motives. Of this is a fake
Micheal! Make more shopping videos!!
Yes he needs to bring one of his female friends to try on the jewels
Michael you have such a good energy
Michaels negotiating is so brilliantly savage. Gotta respect it. You know they made so much more business from every one of these episodes
Owner is nice and his guys.. Michael always funny 😂
Adam: jesus what are these
Michael: They are fun right!?
you are gifted, i like this channel, it doesn't happen to me that often but i caught myself having a smile on my face the whole video. keep doing that especially thank you!
I love how Michael actually looks shook he didn’t take the twenty grand.
Please never stop making these videos! The motivation is so phenomenal! This is honestly what I been needing in my life! ❤️
The only youtuber with no haters :)
Adam's getting a few!
unmesh choudhari anyone with money has haters no matter how rude or humble you are
Is Micheal like the best boss/employer on the planet!?!.... Unbelievably generous, you can't fake being a GREAT human....
A Musical Box is usually a Magical Watch-Wow!!!!
24:30 Love how Michael dealed that! Well done! :D
When I first saw his videos I thought what a ponce, but now I think hes a genuine guy with a great sense of humour, first impressions are not always right.
i love how the camera man dare to trash talk you. You are so chill and friendly to him :D love it
Mike Meyers said in an interview that he built his Austin Powers persona off Michael Blakely. I totally see it!
Really???? Link???
Michael is very likable and has a great sense of humor.
Hey Michael,
Plz do a drum duet-That would be cool!!
TY for showing us $40M+ in 26 minutes. Its an event that I've never experienced before.
I've been in $20M+ mansions and driven $1M cars but to actually be educated on those pieces was a real treat-Thx again.
I luv that Picasso Bull (I'd be happy with the vase & painting never mind that its a Picasso-That's no BS)
All the very BEST!!
Cheers from Vancouver, Canada!!
lol either you not rich or you're 10 years old
Ali r/thathappened
@@glizzygobbler9001 and you're just a bitch
He went from 55k to 25k after saying they're worth way more then 55k WTF? LMAO
Thats called customer relationship investment, he probably sold it for how much he paid for.
Its called Beverly Hills...full of conmen.
TRUE!!
It could be that he knows there will be some haggling, so he started high, or it could be that he is investing in this relationship, especially this guy is giving him free ad on a youtube channel that sees hundreds of thousands of views per clip. If you look at his face when he said done, he looks like a guy who just got f*ed, i think he lost some money on this one just to make Michael happy.
allnighter2011 ...they never lose money.
Michael, no matter what classless Adam says those shoes are classy and so elegant. Your one of one in fashion. U know how to rock clothing n look good. Props
I’m honestly scared watching them handle that vase!
Michael saved 30k in 15 seconds of negotiating LMAO
yeh but you can tell Peter was hurting over that
That just says a lot about the BS factor in this store. "I just made these, they gems are very rare. For you, I can do 55. But they worth A LOT LOT more."... OK! How about 25? Deal! ... Those cuff links probably cost the guy 5 to 6 thousand dollars.
@@aah57 congratulations u know how a business operates
@@Yumadlol Explain something here please. Exactly how by making this personal and directly attacking me adds to the conversation? Do you have a vested interested in this particular store, or do you run a similar operation that my comment made you take it so personal? Or are you one of those types that get off by putting down others from the comfort of their sofa meanwhile they haven't done jack **it a day in their miserable lives? Which is it? You don't need to answer. I won't be engaging any further. I have a life to attend to.
@@aah57 woah calm down dont be so insulted
Two drummers jamming? It would have to be some Adam Ant stuff......... Watching Michael and Peter pounding out those beats would be priceless.
Maria das Santos There are 21 million people with a net worth of 1 million dollars or more in United States, so yes, there are quite a lot of wealthy people there

When I go to the store :
How much is this ? That's 50euro
47euro is good ? No , it's 50euro
48euro is good ? No, it's 50euro
Okay , I'll take it for 49euro ! No it's 50euro
Guess i'll pay 50euro , can you put it in a bag ? That's 10cents for the bag , total price is 50.10 euro
Really like those guys. They seem super chill and have some very interesting, unique and amazing pieces.
When's that drum-off coming?
Good evening 47
My new guilty pleasure, watching all producer Michael’s vids while the wife watches Eastenders ! Love this guy !
Llf one year on in middle of this fucking pandemic I'm doing what ur doing lol just not through eastenders
Adam, tell Michael to buy you a 4K camera!! Who's with me?
no, he would need a huge computer for that
Marc G what are you on about? I still remember even my iPhone 7 could film in 4K @ 30 fps.
buy a freakin super computer xd
hollywood level cameera xxd 1060 fps
I like the way you remember Avon only a Brit would remember that
Ding Dong, Avon calling
Dane Hardinge I was just going to write that! :) I used to love their soap on a ropes when I was a kid and they did a cologne where the glass bottle was a large blue Marlin or something like that, didn’t smell too bad either!

$60.
cameraman tonguing hard for an AP
He did on previous vids too ;)
In return he let him tungue punch his poop box 😂

1st we saw the nail polish ))))) although not manly in our neighbourhood.
2nd of all I have to say that the shop owners are the most nice ones you have been to yet ,really nice guys with a nice smile all the time and this kind of nice spirit can't be bought .
3rd thanks for showing us all these stuff that we can't see normally .
4th man you spend a lot of money on accessories and you can help a lot of needy ppl with that money you throw , you should consider that each time you go out for a shopping spree cause giving always makes you way more happy and for longer times ....we are all looking for happiness ain't we?!
MICHAEL LIVING THE GOOD LIFE GOOD VIDEO
You should just get him a Royal oak Audemars Piguet with diamonds on the bezel and a black rubber wrist strap. I guarantee he would love it!
This is the best store because the owners are actually intelligent people .... and I love the antique stuff too 👍
this guy looks like donald trump and mr. beast had a baby
accucate AF... trump face + mr beast money
King Panda yeah true

Zac Farro do you not think Trump has more money than Mr Beast?😂

I'm in agreement with Adam and he's not alone. While I find the watch he wanted to be not for me I support his thoughts on stainless or white gold over rose gold or yellow gold 100%. My favorite piece is the Patek Calatrava 5196G in solid White Gold, I think the silver schemes are infinitely better than most gold patterns.
advertise for 55k, sold for 25k. Alright.
It probably costed him 8K and sold it to this fool at almost triple
RelaxingFeelings this fool you speak of lowered the price by 30k in under ten seconds. Perhaps he knows how much it’s worth and how much is a respectable reasonable offer. Dumbass.
@@Sluicey Michael's Networth is over 50 million dollars too. He's not concerned at all about a few grand.
By the way diamonds arent rare at all. For jewlers with good connections, they get diamonds and other gems for mad cheap. Hence MAD profit.
"It's only going to go up in value." Yeah well it already went about $300,00 down in value.
Adam really deserves that watch and maybe a sports car for the tremendous work he does for the show
I love how every watch seller says the same shit “it’s POPULAR “😂😂
Patek's ,AP's and Rolex sports watches are VERY POPULAR now. Its common knowledge.
The last time i was this early, Adam wasn’t so picky over what he ain’t paying for. I know we all have different taste and likeness but I’d take the watch and keep it somewhere safe as a collection..
its not IWC its EWC original
Michael has such a sweet and wonderful personality. GREAT HUMAN BEING !!!
had to subscribe after watching several videos through the week

9:28 lol that "animated events" watch, am dead
Shoes - “They look like my grandma’s drapes !” LMAO !
I learned a lot diamond, jewllery, etc. from Michale , but more interestingly I learned about the way he negotiate.
Buys 25k cuff links that he will wear once but won’t buy Adam a watch
Kevin Raj cmon he literally offered him a 35k watch
Vicente Echeverry it wasn’t 35k it was like 2k
Mike worked his whole life everyday harder and harder to be able to have things like he has, why should adam be bought an ap for nothing just because his boss is rich as shit, when micheal thinks adam has earnt one he may buy him one.
Cuff links are an investment, not only for pretty looks.
michael earned the money and deserves to spend however he chooses. Maybe he doesn’t want to buy him a watch to teach a young person a lesson that things don’t just come to you.
Love it when Michael haggles .....got money and brains!
I could watch this young man shop all dsy for watches. Would never get tired of watching him shop. + new subscriber here.

Kyle Foster which hockey player is on ur DP from team USA?
luca Rossi bruh that’s him
I'd rather have 12 million cash

Started at$55k sold for $25k its worth $5k
they discovered a million tons of diamond bellow earth... diamond is as valuable as glass
Marc G diamonds are nothing. The media and celebrities are stupid
Michael the producer, you are one unique individual my friend. Almost as if you came from another world. I actually started watching RUclips videos years back and you kicked it all off when you were mainly showing people expensive homes. My watch collection is about 45 watches now And I get a kick out of you and your channel. Take care my friend, John Gildart.
