i loved watching all the characters on are you being served and last of the summer wine. i feel like i know theses people. i have a friend who could pass for wendys sister. so when i see my friend i think of wendy richards.
It's so sad for me, a woman of "age" to see comments on here from children calling her a "bich" (children who clearly can't even spell profanities). Wendy was and is a true British GEM and may she Rest In Peace. It is people like her that make me so very proud to be British.

(Ignoring classless commentary here) I posted this already on another video, but I'll say it again. Wendy was a talented lady, and I loved watching her in EastEnders. Love her or leave her, you all have to admit that she had a long, fulfilling career. I just wish that some members of the "RUclips" community could stop spewing bile and venom over this video...I doubt any of you would like hearing some of the classless comments at your loved one's memorial service.
I don't know how you feel, hopefully saddened at the death of a good human being? And who cares about public attention? Just hope that you leave the world something to remember you by, whether you are a brilliant actress or just a good person you will always be remembered by someone :-)
As is to be expected on a site that isn't moderated and where fruitcakes have free reign to post whatever nonsense they want I've read some disgusting crap on youtube over the years. But the cruel comments on these Wendy Richard tributes have re-defined for me what bad taste really means. The funny thing is that these characters actually have the nerve to take the moral high ground in all this. They would do better to take a good look in the mirror before they start judging others.

To think here in Oz we're all laughing again at the antics of Are You Being Served? Great series, great actors and just laugh out loud comedy.

What, is Wendy Richard dead? Did she die before or after she left Eastenders, or at the same time? I wouldn't know as I don't watch it.
It is sad. Anyone who has been on this planet long enough understands that karma is very real.
