  • The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has received a lot of attention in the media as well as some Bike Of The Year awards. Do I think it deserves such accolades so early into its life cycle? No, I don't think so.
    Watch the video and understand why I like this bike and why I don't.

    Hello, how much did you rise the handlebar ? And were there any issues with cable lengths at your rise?
    I believe that 1st and 2nd gear been short is a good thing for slow chugging along in the offroad sections.
    You are the first person to talk about the gears, kudos for that.

    • @tallguyrides792
      @tallguyrides792  5 месяцев назад

      I think the rise is 2 inches appx
      No issues with the cable lengths. Needs to be re-routed.
      Long gears are better for chugging along. The gears are short and need constant changing. Though you can rev out the engine on 2nd gear and get the bike to 50+kmph.

      @@tallguyrides792 but I wouldn't be suprised if the engine is ok and built to do 7,000RPM all day long - don't you think it just feels different than the old engine? higher compression etc? I guess you would need to compare it to a KLR or BMW or something else. Thanks. That would be a major concern for me as a US buyer where 75-80mph would be part of normal driving
