- Here I am with a recipe for the lentil patties that we love so much.
They are suitable for lunch, for packed sandwiches, for a buffet, for fingerfood, for children, perfect with tomato sauce or simply browned in a pan and served with their own cooking juices.
Here's what you need to make them
(as I mentioned in the presentation, you can also use just lentils, without the sweet potato)
70 g sweet potato, steamed and then browned in a pan
100 g lentils stewed in a pan with oil, seasoning, stock cube and water.
2 tbsp soya sauce
2 tbsp. evo oil
2 teaspoons of garlic paste, which can be replaced by one or more cloves of fresh garlic and a dash of seed oil
flavourings of your choice (garlic powder, onion powder, pepper are indispensable)
a little nutmeg (I also find that nutmeg gives an incredible touch of flavour)
bunch of herbs (parsley, chives, basil)
2 tablespoons ground linseed
1 level tablespoon of psyllium seed cuticles
IT IS ESSENTIAL TO PLACE THE MIXTURE IN THE REFRIGERATOR BEFORE FORMING THE PATTIES.
After that you can decide whether to serve them browned or with tomato sauce, accompanied for example by a slice of grilled polenta.
