Brasil philodendron 1

Hey guys lets repot my Philodendron Brasil. This pot is too big and its affecting our root health. Plant care is our number 1 priority. We will go over a proper container size and why we decided to transplant to a smaller container. So lets start growing.

It looks like the roots were rotted (brown) and you only had a few strands of healthy white roots. Just sharing. Thanks for sharing.

Agreed! I had one that did not make it with the repot and put it back in water to start it over. The other one has been doing pretty good. I planted them deep enough so that the Ariel nodes could root as well. It’s always tricky with the repot from large to small because I really didn’t know what the heck was going on. I go to say, thank you and I definitely will just cut up all the way to top and propagate in water because the headache of doing it twice. Whew 😮‍💨

@@growingwithshawn Sometimes when you repot some leaves will yellow. I always say it will look ugly for awhile until it's beautiful again. It really takes time to know each plant and to be patient.

@@rmcandlelight you right about that. I hate that part. Makes you question if you missed something.
