It’s a very long and amazing journey from the tiny little green you had at the house in town….. so happy to watch you move into an acreage and take charge right away, getting the irrigation and piping in the ground as soon as you could…and now this…. Every golfers dream. …. At least those of us that need help on the short game😂😂 Keep up the great work! Can’t wait to see the fairways and tee stations shape up
Hate to say this, but I came here to see a golf green get created but enjoy the knowledge transfer of how to develop and maintain a lawn too! I’m probably in the minority, but I would love to see some more golf content!
I used liquid iron in my lawn 3 or 4 weeks ago - and it’s still a deep green. Went through a drought for 2 weeks and everyone’s lawn went dormant - people thought I spray painted my lawn. I spilled a bunch on my driveway and now I’ve got a large orange stain - hopefully that’s proof it wasn’t painted.
We know you didn't build this to get better at golf, it was for the love of the grass. Can't wait to see how the fairway turns out, hope you get your hole in one, one day :D.
2:03...I don't know what it is about mowing grass either - what I do know, you choose some funky tunes for the background music 😆 P.S. Is there a live stream planned in the near future?
I'm assuming you'll be using a growth regulator in the spring? Makes all the difference in the world on putting greens. And how long do you think it'll be before you have to start verticutting?
Incredible, I have a buddy who wants to do the same thing in his yard but hasn't even started. Do you have a stimpmeter? It would be cool to see the difference between a putt rolling before and after the cut on the green to see how much difference it makes when we play on fluffy greens vs. well maintained ones.
Rye grass won’t creep so shouldn’t be an issue but if you look back at when he was doing the irrigation etc. he also installed a barrier around the whole green which goes 300mm deep from memory
I remember when you were just looking at that area and planning it out.. You're vision has definitely turned into something beautiful.!⛳️
I can’t be the only one who is excited for the tee box to get started!
Bruh! Green is PURE, PURE, PURE!!! The golf shot is getting there too!
First off what happened to our 'yo mate what up welcome to another lawn tip vid'😂😂 looks good bro even going from 8mm to 4mm trained well
So funny watching Schnitty run off and bark at the cows

I've enjoyed watching this take shape so much. Hard work really paid off.
Would love to see all the fringe mowed in the same direction - I think it would provide better contrast and make the green pop more?
Insane work paying off

Awesomeness mate!
man those plugs moved so dang fast, next growing season is going to be wild
Love the mowing and maintenance videos too mate 👌
Looking really nice, definitely an easy environment to work in 👍
World class.
So good Ben Sims 👌👌👌
How do you prevent weeds from growing in it, any pre-emergents you apply on it?

With any luck Cam Smith has been watching this and you can get him in for a few Cameo putts at some stage 😀👍🤙
Man my ryegrass is soo dark at the moment too 👌can’t beat it
Do you have any idea what a similar climate would be in the States, where you are in Australia?

When are you getting back on the Kikiyu?
Probably when it’s not winter bruv 😂
Much better video heading.

He does have one if you go back a few vids you’ll see him using it
I was going to suggest taking a reading before a cut, after a single cut then after a double cut just out of curiosity
Hi Ben, was just wondering why no catchers on the triplex?
Off the few shots I've seen I'm going to say you are about a 6.5 handicap. Thats the spread
Is the intention to get the whole plot to that standard, or just have select areas to that standard?
Just out of curiosity, how many hours a week does it take to maintain your Green ?
I wouldn't be surprised if he is handcuffed to it.😅
What’s happening out front of your house mate, the kikuyu
Is Schnitty a full or minature dachshund?
He’s a mini, but he’s on the larger side of mini for sure
I think it’s time you take us for a mow around your property
something about snag dogs licking the mouth my two mini's do the exact same
How is it THAT green in winter? 😮 (yes, nitrogen, I know...but still!)
Fancy a game of golf when we are all retired? I think you should get a few RUclipsrs over for a few holes
Great work Ben! Absolutely pure👌 whats your HOC on the rye out of interest?
How do you keep a separation between the different grassed at the edge of the green?
Rye grass won’t creep so shouldn’t be an issue but if you look back at when he was doing the irrigation etc. he also installed a barrier around the whole green which goes 300mm deep from memory
Not get itchy to monetise it? I’m sure you would get lots of interest even at this stage. People who want a nice quiet location to practice
bro sorry you have to re do the video there was no yo bro what up at the start green is looking mad mow on
Just a man and his grass
First Aussie 😁
