I like that this video gets no gold and uploaded anyways. . Sometimes there’s more gold in truths told. Most relatable gold panning experience ever. Not knowing what I’m doing, not finding anything. 👍🏼
Well some content makers only show the good, the great, the unbelievable and never the skunk pans. I have got gold before with this pan , but I did have multiple skunk pans in the minelab pan as well. And most importantly prospecting is like that, miss more than hit!🤔😔🤨
May not have been any gold in the shovel mate. Heading to Bendigo tomorrow to see Sam and his family. If the weather is kind I will try get out. the back is about as good as before i injured it so time to give it a go.
I'd give it a go, but I think the trick is the person using this is themselves nearly fully submerged in very muddy waters, and the inner dimple is ideal for catching fine and flour gold. Another one, and @MurrayRiversGoldAdventures related is a woven tight basket like the rice farmer's, and the swirling around leaves only the heaviest big sands, gemstones, either with the dimple and hand-dribble water to clear off, or a big upside-down frisbee, heavies centred, dumped onto a big black cloth so the sun catches any colour or colourless stones - might work for certain parts here in Victoria, yellow diamonds, parti sapphires (multicoloured)..., always worth checking the classifiers, work them like a pan to the last heavies, gems or nuggets, was a good rare tip from Levi down in Tasmania. The latest Spud Engineering video shows a Reedy Creek clear diamond, looks bigger than the Melbourne Museum one from 1863, I suppose that's saying they're there, but they're still little, hey. But let's try prove otherwise, get out there and give it a go! Onya, Andy and Rivers. Avagoodweekend x 2.
I agree, but my favourite is to use my forward classifier on my river sluice (water flow needed) but it depends on your preference. Thanks for stopping by, regards Andy
It has got gold before for me, still learning. But I think the shovel full was crap, I had plenty of skunk pans in the normal mine lab one as well! Cheers Andy
Liked, shared and commented. It’s a great pan, but it’s not for me. 1 priced ridiculous 2 looks heavy 3 too big. Panningtub just turned into a wheelbarrow 😂🍻🤴🏻🗽

Old habits die hard at least you try new things Andy
I have caught gold in it before, I think it was just another skunk pan! I had a few that day, the deposit dried up. Cheers mate
Nice pan indeed fam. Keep on having fun getting that Au and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠
Thanks buddy

Good luck Cliff, the weather is turning to crap here atm. Next week is supposed to be worst so far, they say down to 6° below normal bbbrrr🥶

Cheers Gabi, I will keep at it. I had a lot of skunk pans that day, pay streak was skinny and very thin. Mainly flood deposits
Use both. Batea pan to get to concentrate fast, Normal gold pan to get to gold.

At the start keep the pan just under the water. It doesn't hurt to stratify first a a normal pan.

How's you back going. I think that after a day on the creek, you would be in pain.
Every day is bad, some worse than others. The cold does not help. But we all have problems , cheers Victor
@andypandyAU.6669 I think it will be too heavy to pan with all day.
Your probably right, gotta have a go though
Slightly below The TurboPan in the Worst Pan on the Planet Award
Haven't tried a turbo pan, but they all take time to learn how to use them. I was at the end of a long day and just couldn't be bothered.
Cheers Andy
Very cool, Andy. I'm keen to try one myself. Any luck at all though?
I have had success before , but not that day.
🤨😪 cheers Andy
@@andypandyAU.6669 at least you're keeping it real. We all have bad days. Hopefully not many though
@@frenchys_prospecting the good you remember, the bad you try to forget. We all have those days

1 priced ridiculous

3 too big. Panningtub just turned into a wheelbarrow 😂🍻🤴🏻🗽
Very valid points! Cheers Andy
Keep on trying mate, you'll get there, it might have been just a skunk pan. Cheers Pete
Ssshhhh! It was!
Like anything mate, abit of practice your get the hang of it. Likely there's no gold in that pan to start with.
I did have more skunks than I had good that day for sure 👍
