I love that he's rummaging multiple rooms looking for medical supplies to cure an infection then gets distracted by feet in a bathroom and proceeds to literally walk over the same pile of medical supplies like 4 times without ever noticing it.

Josh, you are running Q6 gear, top-tier. All the ammo you need, and.....
...loading the crossbow with Iron crossbow bolts. You did this back in the series too. You had a crucible, they're cheap to make, and you can bulk craft them having finished the Archery books. WHY ON EARTH are you not running Steel Crossbow Bolts? They do a TON more damage, especially with the stealth modifiers.
Right. Still keep around some for cheap breakage on doors and the like.
Navezgane County Jail in the wasteland is by far the hardest POI I've ever played. Everyone should try it once.

I totally agree, Just finished it and not only was the quest the hardest I done, I had to deal with no less than three screamer hordes that showed up. They ended up blowing up my jeep so that made me want to get even.
I tried it three times and died twice. The last time I used exploding crossbow bolts and that did the trick.
I can only imagine.
AP ammo combined with the penetrator skill allows precision rifles (pipe, hunting, lever action, and sniper) to shoot through blocks that have a low HP value, like wood.
Yep. My only issue with it is it looks like TFP have forgotten it was originally set up for A17 or so. There are NO blocks (that I have found) that have less than 1000 health BUT wood blocks. The next block type is Cobblestone Brick, and its base health is 1200. Which means the additional benefits at the different skill levels (750 hp and 1000 hp) don't really help. They should revisit those values. The second tier of block penetration should go through 1200, and the final tier should go through 2500 or 5000.
@@heliumphoenix Don't forget damaged blocks also exist.
@@tistelnilsson - I haven't. However, those are a very small percentage of blocks. It's also very difficult to see the damage of a block at long range, where one would usually be sniping at with a rifle (which is the only category of weapon that gets the "shoot through" bonus effect.) It would be exceedingly rare to have a shot through such a block at an enemy unless you deliberately let zombies beat on it for a while.....which in my mind kind of defeats the purpose of getting a "surprise" shot through a block at an unsuspecting target.
Glass is even worse.....it's either VERY weak, or VERY strong. But it does let you get through the glass rather than wasting a bullet breaking it and alerting the zombies. But it's so situational that it seems like a very limited benefit for the number of points spent into the skill.
With that new mechanic of zombies eating bodies I would love to see a modder make some kind of zombie bait "grenade" or let us pick up small animals and toss em out to lure zombies. I will say this. It feels like, while powerful, the rifles just don't put enough lead down range when shite hits the fan. It would seem shotty's and machine guns are still king at high difficulties.
This would be amazing, make hunting rabbits as a throwable distraction a viable option instead of just 3 food

I think you were looking for the term 'Wet wall' where all the pipes go up between multiple floors.
That was fun! I think it would have been nicer with helmet light instead of all red the entire time. The headlight would have added to the ambiance and would have seemed more creepy.
I was so excited to see the dismal end reward options just to left with blue balls right at the end...
That was a lot of fun! Please continue this series of just checking out Tier 6 Infested. You rocking in with a full load of health kits, and 3K rounds of 7.62, is BONZA mate!

Like others said, a series to feature all T6 (Tier5 infested) would be a great idea and fun to play. These new POI are well design and really, really hard to finish them without lot amount of ammo, meds and some luck. (You got lucky to have to place to jump up when that zombie Bear show up lol)
I was surprised you were able to make it out alive in the treasure room without using cheese build, that is awesome skill you have.
Tier 6 i do have a weapon for every type of ammo with me. Just to be able to use all ammo I find on the way.
Particularly he he showcased different builds to do it. Spec specifically into niche things and see how it goes.
Any guess on how long he would make it in an explosives only run?
Maxed out parkour is a godsend, except with the free-bleeder perk the pimp boys gave us one can't move a damn till the bandage is applied.

That was proper full on. Shows just how much kits need for the upper tier now. You were very light for the prison.
That toggle would have made carrying landmines worthwhile. You could have trapped up the area, flipped the switch, and watched the fireworks
I think that burned room (with the wheelchair) and the delayed explosion is a Breaking Bad reference
Josh, that was fun! You should maybe consider doing a series of these t6 infestaions but use the loot and ammo from the previous one to "fund" your next quest... if that makes sense... lol!! Loved these series, am gutted its ended so soon but am looking forward to the next one!

i love watching him backtrack through areas cos he uses parkour to skip half the poi then wanders back through the areas he has already gone through
They did an awesome job with the creation of the nursing home. The patient's rooms look great. But..how did a bear get on the roof LOL
Bears are pretty good climbers. I seen a video of one climbing onto a roof to chase after people. They can go up trees lightning-fast too. Easily stronger than any RPG monster.
I loved this episode! I would enjoy watching you check out some other tier 6 infestations. What an absolute insane POI that was!! Always love the videos man!
There was more high round call of duty zombies then i expected this episode well done for beating a tier 7 infested at day 36.
Man I loved the hell out of that Jurassic Park game, I rented it like 20 times before my parents eventually bought it for me. I never got very far though, I could never find the eggs or figure out what to do when the T Rex chased me

If you went full perception, you'd also be going in with a rocket launcher, a few stacks of grenades, and a stack or landmines.
There are a few extra tactics you can use here.
Tactic 1 - Wake up a room, run, close a door, put a landmine in front of the door. They all cluster up to the door and knock it down, then blow up together. XP is lost but you're alive and amused as you snipe those who survive the blast.
Tactic 2 - Throw grenade into group of sleeping zombies, crouch so you get sneak damage on the boom. See tactics 1 and 3
Tactic 3 - Grab chairs from the POI and fill up hallways with the chairs to make them 1 block wide. Then when you fall back you have ideal sniper choke points.
Barbed wire is a cheap and effective way to clutter. It slows their running behavior down, hurts them, and stops their hopping like with blocks. Just make sure one leaves a path for the player.

Me and my 7 Days survival team call the "Spiders" "Bruisers". We call the big ones "Spitters" from L4D2 (Left 4 Dead 2)

I’d love to see Josh do a series with 20 skill points and tier 1 max level gear and tools on max difficulty on spawn just so we can see what he can do with bases and how far he can go.

The trap bundles are good for selling to the vendor or scrapping for 3-6k scrap iron each! Really helps steel accumulation.
If you can avoid scrapping, you get an extra 33% more iron if you directly smelt the darts in the forge
The second he opened his inventory I lost it: 3,300 rounds of 7.62. THIS time he's prepared!!🤣Estimate that he burned through a little over 750 rounds of 7.62 in the POI (38:06) and picked up over 2,000 in loot so - net positive on ammo!
Hey Josh - You should do a one-off (intermittent?) "series" where you tackle the various tier 6 POIs and then rate/compare them, and let us vote on our favorite video. I think the most difficult tier 6 is the Shotgun Messiah factory, but I would love to see your take on it.

i wish they'd do the same thing to meat as they do with stones where you can throw them to distract and lure zombies. it'd be cool to craft zombie bait kind of like l4d2 that lasts for certain amount of time, and increases with maybe the perception perk.
also josh, it seems that they've changed the way the zombie's sight mechanic works with the new lighting. i've noticed that as long as you make noise once and move away from the spot you were in when you made the noise, zombies will come to your last position and freeze like they are listening. it's been a thing since about alpha 18, but they somehow finally made it work noticably well, to the point where im sure you could produce a badass video on how exactly it works.

Couldn't help laughing when you opened your inventory and it was just absolutely full of bullets, especially after the prison.
When extensive use of ammo is expected I carry stacks of ammo that way you can carry more without using a huge amount of storage space
If only he took the key at the end, yet in the deciding moment he switched freedom with danger and left it behind
seems josh you've learned a valuable lesson about the new alpha 21, though I wonder how that'll carry over when alpha 22 comes out lol which have a feeling will be here soon

I did the Navazgane General Hospital that was located the wasteland for the first time.. When the dogs on the walkway spawned in, I freaked out and fell off ... right into a wandering horde that had apparently decided to break into the hospital.
Yeah ... that was ... intense.

One of the house poi has an attic that spawns zombies behind you after you clear the last loot room box.
I know you think Parkour 2 is expensive, but I can't recommemd it enough. Jumping 2 blocks can be a lifesaver, literally.

thinking about the nursing home I really would love a grandma-zombie. like one that is rarely, will run around with a cane and beat you with it but always has something to eat with it.
I've gotten several turret bundles from T5 end loot chests, you just had bad luck with all the dart traps.
JaWoodle, I always carry antibiotics, maybe in the Wasteland that would be advisable at such a high tier POI

After watching this and glocks infestation videos I'm kinda surprised their weren't any demos in either poi. Especially with how high the difficulty is.
To easy to shoot them and use the explosion in your advantage.

hey JaWoodle would you be interested in a Stun Baton and 9mm playthrough? i head stun baton got buffed like the spear did, and possibly on a 10k map? mostly desert too if you like the twist
I'd love to see a stun baton+handguns only run. I'm currently playing with a silenced Desert Vulture and a silenced Sniper Rifle and its great.
Maxed stun baton is more fun than it has any right to be. Not so good with swarms unless one's using nerd tats, and even if it's down to luck.

13:05 u went parkour UP the roof here at this place instead of following the path (see the light on the wall, u suppose to go that way) , thats why u're all turned around
once u go backwards any POI is alot easyer :) cause A21 is FULL of trigger zones, zombies don't even spawn correctly if u don't follow the path

Great video. I'm pretty sure you left with more 7.62 than you brought, I only saw around 3k in the beginning but you had closer to 3.6k when you left.
So Woodle vs nightmare spec POI: All the ammo in the world, but no honey, splint, steroids, recog or fort bites. This is fine...

Pretty sure you did end up with more ammo actually! I think the prisons are more numerous but the nursing home is definitely more claustrophobic.
Love that they added this kind of difficulty tho! Lets face it, there's an end point around day 70 and difficult in A21 (hordes + POIs) keep it going well after that now. I just did day 42 horde at stage 159 and the demo count was nuts.. maybe 20+
Also, would have liked to see what the tradey would have given you. The loot you got was insane already!
He started with 2981 rounds of 7.62 ammo. He ended with 2505 (roughly) before he put a bunch in his bike. Not sure how much he gained looting, as he edited some of that out. So he used about 480 rounds of 7.62 ammo (plus any he found during the looting inside.) He gained about 800 rounds from the Infested Cache, and another 360 from the Hardened Chest. So he used about 480, and gained 1160. So he netted a gain of about 680 rounds of 7.62 overall (minus any he found and edited out), and a bunch of other ammo as well.
What?!? You didn't turn in the quest! You can't rightly say you got everything until you do.
Damn somehow your aim with the spear got WORSE when you got your reticle back XD
It would be nice to have the ability to just pick decorative blocks(I mean not just plants and chairs), just like in Zomboid, where you can grab furniture and devices to your home. Maybe there is a mod for this already?
