👌 .. thanks for taking me along the trail Ritchie, I have very fond memories of holidays to Ingleton as a child in the 70's.. the waterfalls being a particular favourite. I've just booked a cottage for a week in September & to get me back up to speed decided to watch your video. I've come to the sad conclusion that I'll not be able to manage the trail due to foot Neuropathy .. I'd forgotten the terrain & amount of steps - something I'd not paid attention to as a youngling. .. a bit gutted as was looking forward to re-visiting with my family & dog. Thankfully your beautifully produced video has helped me wander this gorgeous trail without crippling myself! 😂 All the best fella xx
This is a terrific walk & quite rightly earns its place in the ITV top 100 walks in Britain 😊 waterfalls are always great to see & i bet after quote a bit of rainfall they are even more spectacular! Good filming John & makes for a very enjoyable watch 🙂❤🎉
I am so glad to have found your channel. I went here many times with my family on Summer holidays. The last time I did the complete walk was with a group of friends in 1992 so yes a long time ago. Its the most awesome place I ever had the opportunity to see and absolutely worth every penny. Thank you so much for bringing back such happy memories for me you wouldn't believe how much I appreciated this. Stay safe on your journeys. Vivien 👍😊
very nice video, we are coming to the Lake District in June (from the Netherlands) and also want to do this beautiful waterfalls walk. The video shows me nicely what we can expect. Beautiful views and many steps. we are looking forward to it. Greetings Erik
Thornton Force looks impressive, bet it's epic after a good dose of rain. Parts of this walk remind me of Lydford Gorge down my way. You pay to get in there too. Really like the mixture of walk throughs and the 360 video mate. All credit to you. 👍
I’ll have to check out that Lydford Gorge. Maybe put it on my list Thanks for your kind words mate. Actually really tried with this video and the Malham cove video haha
A great video mate. Well filmed and some lovely shots. Did this walk a few years ago before i started my channel and have a group walk arranged here for next month so will be filming for sure. The ice cream van was there back then too!
Thanks for watching and I appreciate your kind words. It’s a great walk with some beautiful waterfalls. If I ever go back I’d defo be tempted to take a dip
Done this was £8 couple of yr ago. Awesome place. Tuck me a steady 4 hrs to get round. Don't rush it plenty of Awesome scenery. Question is Is there another place like this I can't find one in the u.k ?
Hi Ian. First of all thank you for watching my video. As far as I know there isn’t a walk where you pay like this one but there are a few other beautiful places. There’s Malham cove which I’ve done a video on and if you follow my route it will again take you a good few hours and pass a few amazing places.
@RamblingWithRitchie yeah just watched your malham cove video thanks it's on the bucket list for this year. I live in york so it's not a bad drive time wise. A few places in peak district also. Cheers.
Very little of the grandia of this walk, 30 minutes of FPV walking shots, Selfie shots and Walking through shots. Far too much reliance on the 360 camera to get the shot and very little to attract the viewer to the location. Screaming out for some untitled wide shots and focused detail of the views. So many distorted verticals very oppresive. Crossed the line so many times it felt like hopscotch. A lot of views distorted with the stitching point. Sorry. Just my opinion.
@@RamblingWithRitchie Certainly does that, I would recomend you get yourself over to Huddersfield Film Makers Tommorow for Gordon and Anne Sharps talk they are the best Amateur traveloge documentary filmamakers I have ever seen. 2pm at the Quakers House. Thier stuff is in demand all year round and Gordon is one of the best landscape cameramen I have ever met,

More great countryside and gorgeous rivers and waterfalls. Bit expensive tho, thought you might of got a free icecream 🍦😋
Cheers John 🍻👍
Haha. Cheers chip. Great day and walk. The way I see it at least it’s clean and tidy. I guess the money pay for the place to be clean.

It’s a great walk. Would be fantastic after a big rain shower. The waterfalls will be roaring.

The idea of the video is to make you feel like you’re on the trail with me.
