@Mikeoscope great. I am a mechanic myself. I have a 09 e350 put a used engine now I am getting p0016 code. Checked the timing marks on the cams and they are off. I am about to take on this job.
@@ningishziddashar3480 You’re all set then. Hopefully it’s the chain and nothing more. Let me know if you have any questions. Don’t forget the tensioner on the right side of engine behind the alternator.
@@ningishziddashar3480 Gotcha! Mine was fine. If yours is 09 , it’s quite possible that your balance shaft is intact because most of the issues were on the early models. 06-08 mostly. May he a good idea to see the problem before ordering parts. 🤔
waiting for part six.
How did your Crankshaft Gear part number 2720500003 look? would you recommend replacing that as well?
@@JackJohnson314 Mine looked fine. I did not replace it. Not if it looks okay.
I'm so excited for part 6! Man, you are a life saver!
Will be released this week. 👀
hi I'm working on the similar engine... is it possible to do all that while the engine is still inside the car
@@Gono459 Hi. What exactly are you replacing?
do you have to remove the cylinder heads to do the timing chain?
No you do not.

@Mikeoscope I am getting the timing kit and balance shaft. I am suspecting the balance shaft teeth have worn, causing the timing to be off.
