A manual all motor Porsche is not meant for these drags races with high horsepower supercharged motors. The GT3 RS is a track car. Race a regular Turbo Porsche it will smash the ZR1
FSEVENMAN 1st race GT3 rs was spinning just as much as zr1 GT3 rs will do high 10s with tradition so for 500hp that’s impressive and zr1 automatic did 10.1@135 so yes zr1 is faster as I said in my first post. What are you so upset about?

I'm a muscle car lover/owner and years ago i would have picked the corvette blind. Working at one the largest porsche centers in the world for a year, has made me fall in love with porsche. I think they both have their own qualitys. The corvette is a man's car for raw power and drag strip stuff. The porsche is the standard on a circuit, the corvette would't stand a chance on the nurburgring. I'll have them both tho! 😋

500 naturally horsepower out of a 3.8 liter flat 6 cylinder. The the Z06 needed 7 liters to make 505 ls7 horsepower the first Dodge viper needed 8 liters to make 400 plus horsepower V10

DA @ -800 is perfect for running quick times but with 1.96-2.0 60ft times you'll never run a high 10's or a flat 11 as you know. The ZR1 vs your 2005 Ford GT would be a good race...
Pretty sure the 2 takes it on a circuit easily. although the 3 has made a really good run recently, so we will see what the zr1 does. can we see if it will at least run with the ACR first though? hmm i always liked the ACR

And an experienced driver in an automatic Zr1 with the right track conditions can get into the high 9's, it takes a lot of skill to properly launch a 755hp rear wheel drive manual transmission car and keep it in the line and not lose traction.

You guys do realize the GT3RS is not a turbo version right? And it's RWD. This is a Naturally Aspirated Porsche against a Supercharged V8 and it's still that close. The GT2 AWD would murder that Vette. Keep at it Chevy. Maybe that Mid Engine one will help,lol.
This is not even this years GT3RS. I’d say it did really well against a 750+hp car. On track the RS would win, but not on the straights. Down 250+hp to be that close and win one is an achievement. Having driven many vettes and 911s, there is no better car in my opinion that a well sorted 911. So fun, so fast and very easy to drive at the limit. The vette, not so much, but for the money, nothing beats it.
People kept trash talking the driver of the demon in Brooke's videos but I still didn't see any demon run 9s here. Doesn't surprise me that streetspeed is getting horrible times in his zr1 either. The demon is auto and can't perform as advertised so if the zr1 was auto it'd probably be just as inconsistent.

I After watching this DragTimes driver racing on the streets I said numerous times that he would be red lighting on the drag strip a lot. And I was 100% correct.
Obviously the corvette is faster. If both cars were raced by professional drivers that knows how to change gears really fast and accurate the corvette will win 100%.

C7 ZR1 is faster round a track than its era GT3 RS, it's more comfortable, much quicker on straights, sounds better and costs 1/3rd of that 911.

And based on the runs on video, the GT3 was running 11.6 to 11.65 average. Not 11.3's. At least 124-125 mph traps, that's pretty fast.
