The fact that y’all crossed the Mississippi River Bridge at Baton Rouge, which is less than a mile from my house, excited me more than it should. lol. Glad y’all are enjoying the south.

Welcome back to Texas, kids! Glad to see you made it to Houston. Don't know how far behind you we are in terms of the date of this video, but I hope Eric solves his video camera lens problems without spending a fortune.
I can't help myself, I have to use the standard parent cliche here: Eric, you would forget your head if it weren't attached to your shoulders! Lol! Leaving your shoes in Nashvill, no less. And I thought at my old age that I had memory problems. Lol!
By the way, that folding ladder you have for the "loft bed" - that is more like an attic folding ladder, it is very common here in Texas. I used to have one in my garage that enabled me to climb up into the attic in my town home. But it is nice to see that you have one.

We have beer gardens here in Canada too. Usually during fairs, festivals or carnivals. In BC, Canada you can find them at Interior provincial exhibition(IPE) and Vernon winter carnival are just 2 in my region. Maybe you need to plan a trip here during one if those.

Eric & Allison next time you visit Houston get fajitas from El Tiempo Cantina on Navigation. Fajitas were invented in Houston by the owner’s mom, there is no such thing as chicken or pork fajitas by the way. The Original Ninfa’s on Navigation was his mom’s restaurant but it’s no longer owned or controlled by her family. Also visit the San Jacinto battleground, that’s where Texas won its independence from Mexico

Welcome to Houston!! What part of Houston was the AirBNB? I was born and raised in In Conroe/Spring area. We now live in Rosenberg, which is about 14 miles down from Sugar Land. Houston and it’s surrounding areas are awesome! Lots to do, lots to see, and great places to eat! Galveston is fun too! We spent the day there today.
I grew up in Texas and miss going to them.. I still call convenience stores Ice House
Stop lights, cops, traffic signs...Oh how we dont miss driving in the States 😅
You don’t have stop lights, cops or traffic signs - sounds like highway mayhem and a good way to be killed in a traffic accident! Most of our traffic accidents are because of people who don’t obey stop lights and speed limits! Enjoy your lack of traffic lights!

If you're going to Sweden see if you can get some traditional Swedish style crawfish. It's quite a thing here. Eaten cold, lots of dill seasoning. Some people do a "shot" for every claw (way to get totally hammered) Also my Swedish family would be horrified by you not eating the good stuff out of the head and the meat from the claws 😀

Crawfish looked delicious and sausage looked nice and juicy and not at all rude, haha. Tiny house was great: very nicely laid out and practical. Weather was crazy there, pretty scary without the traffic lights. Really enjoying the editing lately, keeping some bloopers in and some funny captions on screen.
