Thanks for this video it has cleared alot up for me with regard to the CO2 tables and that my contractions are due to stress and not CO2 build up 👍🏻 I'll be now concentrating more on relaxation and technique and not the tables. The depth progression advice also a great idea thanks for all the great content and practical lessons and advice
@@freedivepassion9498 ok!!! Didnt know...well, i AM going there in october...even if the school i AM going isnt tours, maybe i will have 3 data to five with you (if you would be available then, of course!!!).
Ok, time to change something. After some time of regular training with co2 tables, I'm pretty sure that it's impossible to shift the time of first contraction. Instead, they have become much milder, I can even say pleasant...
@@freedivepassion9498 It strongly depends on what you mean by a warm-up. Does it include only adaptive mechanisms or also some hyperventilation too. These times can in fact vary heavily depending on how you approach the attempt. It seems to me (maybe I'm wrong) that the best indicator of whether the body has actually expanded its CO2 tolerance ( I mean about this threshold trigger level) is exactly the time without any warm-up, because it is the most constant and independent. This time in my case is about 1:20-1:30 and it doesn't want to become longer :/ The longest time without any contractions after the warm-up (no hipervent.) around 3:30 and that was WOW for me and also the longest static so far 5:12. I have already accepted the fact that diaphragm contractions are part of the game and I don't try to fight them anymore :) I need to try your approach to training.
Thanks for always exploring and questioning established methods of training and sharing it with us
it's the Anarchist in me lol

I'm happy help, good luck with your training
thanks harry , i always prefer the gentle approach , its not mentally exhausting and it pays off !
I totally agree
You’ve come up with very smart ways to deal with co2 way better than traditional co2 tables
Thanks Mate
Hello Jarry. Thank you for the vídeo. Do you have a school / diving center?
I teach in Dahab Egypt, check out my website, its in the video description

Thanks, Harry, very interesting. Is it possible to do these exercises with empty or half empty lungs?
yes its possible, times will not be the same, and a 10 sec improvement is more impressive when done on less than full lungs.
Thanks, Harry.

I know for a fact they can be shifted. What is your no contraction time after warm up?
